The man closed his eyes, leaning his forehead on Hongjoong’s arm as he seemed overwhelmed with relief.
“Never do this to me again baby… please”. He whispered into his flesh.
Hongjoong’s eyes widened at the nickname.
Panic started settling in because who was this man and why was he talking to him like this.
Hongjoong barely managed to let the question out—his throat feeling dry and deserted—and as he did, he watched the man lift his head up, the eyes previously filled with relief now stricken and horrified.“Who are you?”

"His Highness need not think of such things," Hongjoong replied too quickly.
His Highness traced the lacquered patterns on the box with one ink-stained finger. "I only wondered," he murmured. "When abeonim punished Court Lady Oh, I heard the physician tell eomeonim that poppies make you fall asleep before everything. I'd like that, if you can" His voice wavered, just once, before stating his request.
"I brought you the poppy seeds in your tea, Your Highness," he whispered, as he stood up, the body already cooling in his arms.

Five stories of Phainon and Mydei caring about Castorice in their own unique ways. They navigate through each situation while bickering and flirting with each other but always keeping their end goal in mind.

Summary
After a particular mission goes south for Section 6, two acquaintances of Asaba Harumasa receive the same surprising news of his sudden death, and a request to aid in further investigation.
While Seth Lowell and the Phaethon siblings deal with the shock, a bigger plan is set in motion. For justice, for truth, and for a lot healing.
Like an arrow shot into the dark, he flew too far ahead. But this is Asaba Harumasa: his aim is always true.
TLDR: near-death experience? More like fake-death experience. Harumasa climbs new heights in "how badly can he claim to have been hurt to get that sick leave" and ends up working in the process.
