Lady Jin stared at Mu-deok with hope and wonder in her teary eyes. "Bu-yeon, is that really you?"
Mu-deok thought becoming part of the Jin family would be the end of all her problems. Then she finds out her 'mother' broke off her engagement to Jang Uk and set her up in an arranged marriage to the Crown Prince. Only the best for her dearest Bu-yeon.
That was fine. She and Jang Uk both had feelings for Go Won, and they'd been planning on making changes to their wedding so that he could become a part of their relationship. Then Go Won acts as if they hated him for breaking up their engagement, as if she and Jang Uk only loved each other, as if that one moment that changed their lives didn't happen.
Now, Mu-deok and Jang Uk are on a quest to woo the Crown Prince and get it into his thick skull that he isn't as unloved as he thinks.

It was always so obvious when it was Namjoon, when Jungkook's voice was dripping with adoration and awe and respect. As if Namjoon were somehow larger than life. As if he held the power to either crush or elate Jungkook entirely with his response and yet there was no risk that Jungkook would rather take. As if just being allowed to speak to their leader were a gift Jungkook couldn't help but marvel at every time he remembered it had been given to him.

Hoseok laughs. Oh, Yoongi. Yoongi who is rarely moved to say "I love you" in so many words, but will act like hammering out a star struck romance ballad in their honor is the only logical thing he could be doing with a piece of paper and a pen.

Mingyu walks out of a shop in Italy and you cannot speak.
He looks like the Italian summer itself, bright, golden warm, and full of promise. He looks like he stepped out of a movie, with his hair just-so and a self-satisfied smile playing over his lips. His necklace doesn’t quite cooperate with the collar of the shirt, but the glint of it against his skin reminds you of his chest, the shadow of his body vaguely visible underneath the see-through fabric. He looks as if he was made to be touched and admired, made to fall in love with— a thought you hastily try to put into the mental box where you keep ideas for lyrics, as if that will prevent you from remembering it was about Mingyu.
