Summary
(Ouroboros AU, where Zelda survived the Great Calamity)
The last Zelda saw of Rook was him falling into darkness, vanishing within the golden light of the strange stone he picked up. Next thing, Zelda was waking up on an island above the Cloud Barrier with a decayed Master Sword, an unknown voice guiding her and separated from Rook, she learns, by fifty thousand years.
Zelda has to navigate the challenges that come with being the Hero as she embarks on a journey across Hyrule, trying to figure out Rook’s contingencies as she seeks out the new Sages to confront the malevolent forces of a resurrected Demise.
Meanwhile, stuck in the distant past, Rook finds himself eventually embroiled in the very war the murals beneath the castle had depicted.

Summary
[‘bury a friend’ AU set in Season 3B]
Kidnapped and experimented on by the organisation known as WICKED, Thomas has never lived a normal life. But after finally escaping, he’s shipped home before getting a glimpse of his pack.
In Beacon Hills, he tries to keep his head down, hoping that one day he’ll reunite with his pack. But the supernatural has a way of finding him anyway.
Now, a new danger draws near: Japanese myth bleeds into town as two types of Kitsune arrive, locked in a bitter feud. When one of them—the Nogitsune—chooses Thomas as its host, he is dragged into it by force.
Upside? Newt and Minho arrive in Beacon Hills just as everything kicks off.But as more revelations about the feud come to light, Thomas has to confront the deeper truth of why the Nogitsune took such a liking to him in the first place.

Thomas kills Donovan, and he and Newt offer the body to the Nemeton. Of course, Thomas is all worked up from the battle, and Newt has no issue whatsoever in helping to remedy that.
Or: Newt and Thomas get freaky on the Nemeton after they offer Donovan's body to it.

Theo—childhood friend, probable liar, walking red flag—returns asking to join Scott's pack. Thomas calls BS. While Thomas's own pack unequivocally trusts his instincts, Scott’s too-trusting nature threatens to drive a wedge between him and Scott.
Meanwhile, Void starts teaching Thomas what he actually is. Spoiler: it is definitely not normal.

“If this Hextech thing doesn't work out,” Jayce drawls, slow and sweet, head still dangling awkwardly from his neck, except now he's facing Viktor. “You know what we should do?”
This is a joke Viktor isn't in on. But now he's intrigued, so he draws up his good leg and rests his elbow on it, letting the quiet hum of music wash over him.
“What,” he asks, “Should we do, Jayce?”
Jayce is holding in a laugh. “Suicide pact.”
(Public appearances are boring. Viktor steals Jayce away, and they reflect.)
