Summary
The first day they met up, Nick had crushed him in a massive bear hug; Karl can still feel it in his ribs and curling around his heart. It didn't matter that Nick is noticeably shorter than Karl, and it didn’t matter that Karl was already running towards his friend with outstretched arms: Nick had swept him off his feet in the most literal way.
Karl remembers being unable do anything but nuzzle his face into Nick’s shoulder and breathe in deep.
“You smelled so nice,” he mumbles out loud, the words breaking the ever-decreasing boundary between Karl’s thoughts and his control.
Nick drags his hands down his face. “Okay, I think you need to sleep,” he groans. “Yeah. Yeah, that’s it.”
“But you haven’t given me a goodnight kiss,” whines Karl, and somewhere in between where the words originated and where they emerged into the air, they turn from a joke into a very real need.

Ranboo is quite tall, this is an inescapable fact. There are good things about it just as there are bad things and even neutral things, just as there would be had he been any other height. It doesn't usually bother him, at least not in a way that's consistently obtrusive or apparent, but one particular thing seems to be nagging at him lately. He's not going to let it get to him, not with his upcoming stay at the Watsons'. He can't be all down in the dumps when he meets Technoblade for the first time, after all!
(On second thought, maybe being upset about it isn't so bad as long as Techno is there.)

Ranboo's imposing height often makes it somewhat of an inconvenience to be cradled or carried. It's not really that big of a deal, honest, he just sort of hadn't realized exactly how much he might want that until now, is all.

"You already have so many cards," Karl said. "I can't believe I'm the one saying this, but don't you think you have too many cards?"
"If you win you get to keep all the cards, and your picks from my old cards," Sapnap said. "Come on baby, steal those cards you want so bad from me."
Sapnap wants to do the Pokémon unboxing one more time. One last time. Karl isn't into it but Sapnap is super adamant about it, he's even willing to bribe Karl to do another stream. He keeps saying that he's got a good feeling about what's gonna be in the box. Maybe because he's the one hiding a surprise for Karl inside the box?
