Jason didn’t know when it had happened, all he knew was somewhere along the way they went from simple rooftop trysts, to safehouses and leaving right after, to leaving in the night, to holding each other, to talking each other through nightmares, to leaving at daybreak, and then to this. Breakfasts and routines and being forced to have conversations.

A beautifully written and emotionally realistic fic. This is the most original take on Robin I've ever seen. It's completely unique and the first time I've seen him actually put on a persona (or rather take the persona away) when being Robin. Love how it mirrors Batman's, 'Bruce Wayne' persona.

So much changed with Peter’s body chemistry after the bite that new things are still coming up that surprise him. One day he and Tony are having a fight and Peter is so stressed out he ends up having a seizure. Seizures… great, so that’s a thing now, and Tony has decided that the best thing is for Peter to stop being Spider Man. The more the seizures happen, the more protective Tony becomes. All Peter wants is to have his life back.
OR
May asks Tony to take joint custody of Peter to help with the Spider Man thing and this new stress seizure issue. Peter learns that sometimes parents do what’s necessary even if it’s not a popular choice with their kids.

Then he took a deep breath and he changed. He ironed out every fold in his posture and his face until he looked like Superman again. His shoulders were broad, his gaze was confident, and his smile showed no sign of embarrassment or fear.
It’s genuinely uncomfortable to watch.
Especially since Bruce knows that change. He’s seen it in the mirror before entering parties or nightclubs. He’s always referred to it, internally, as 'putting on my better face.' The façade is his least favourite part of the day, ranking just below 'getting punched by supervillains.'
The idea that Superman is just Kal's better face, that would explain a lot.
It would also mean Bruce isn't alone.
