Tony has an addiction to coffee, one of the only addictions he’s had in his life that he’s not ashamed of, but that’s besides the point. Tony loves his coffee, he’s had many different kinds of coffee from many different places, although his favorite one, and the one he keeps at home, is an organic, traditional Italian, dark roast coffee from The Bean Coffee Company. The smooth, bitter flavor with a hint of his mother’s heritage always brought him a sense of comfort, familiarity.
But now he’s out of coffee."
Tony feels quite particular about his coffee. When he runs out during him and Peter's lab time, the two go to the store to get more... only for it to be out of stock. Internalized ableism ensues.

Buck takes this moment to finally say, “I'm Buck by the way.”
“Bobby,” the man—Bobby—answers.
Buck looks at Bobby, studying him. “Yeah, you look like a Bobby.”
Bobby's eyebrows both furrow while also raise in confusion. “What is that supposed to mean?”
Buck shrugs. “It means you look like a Bobby.”
Bobby laughs, disbelief filling the air but it sounds good natured. “Whatever kid.”
Or, Bobby fresh out of rehab is on a roadtrip across the States as recommended by his sponsor Wendall. He doesn't know what he's looking for, but Wendall told him it's more about the journey anyway than the destination. Buck's been on his roadtrip of soul searching for four years now and still hasn't found what he's looking for. The two of them run into each other and find out that maybe it wasn't a what they were looking for but a who.

Texas stank.
That was the first clear thought Evan managed to hold onto as he stood alone in the front yard. It smelled awful here — like hot asphalt, gasoline, and something vaguely dead — and it was blisteringly hot, even though August was nearly gone. In London, the air by late August already turned mildly cold, the kind of cold that crept beneath your Shirt and reminded you summer was only ever a visitor. He couldn’t say he missed it. He couldn’t say he missed anything at all.

After a tragic car accident, the Buckley family decided to move from London to El Paso, Texas, to get as far away from everything as possible. In the end, it was just Evan and his father who moved into the house, which was much too big for the two of them. Evan hated it. Or maybe not, he wasn't sure what he felt, if he felt anything at all. School was awful, except for one boy who sometimes made Evan's heart flutter a little and maybe even reminded him of feelings.

Evan got out of the car, breathing in the scent of water and wet humus. A barrier stood at the edge of a cliff, the lake at its foot. The urge to put himself in danger, to do something stupid and reckless gut-wrenched him as soon as he saw the opportunity. He climbed onto the fence, tiptoeing the edge.
The boy wobbled, his heart skipping a beat. Wild with emotion, his arms flailed in the air to stabilize him as a peak of adrenaline rushed through his veins. That felt so good. Focusing his mind on the not-so-easy task of keeping his balance, he let a wide grin show on his lips for the first time in days.
”Evan!” Margaret shrieked, and the surprise made him fall over, on the good side of the cliff, though. The boy tumbled at his mother’s feet as she pressed at his side.
Now, he wasn’t invisible.
