Summary
Donnie is nine when he first meets one of his soulmates after a childhood of loneliness. Selene is ten when she meets one of her soulmates after a childhood filled with dreaming of them. Neither of them expected the other, but there's no way in hell they're letting go now that they have each other. Five years and a noninsignificant amount of crime later, they meet a band of color-coded idiots who can't seem to understand that idea.
(Leonardo is nine when he first learns that there were supposed to be four turtles instead of three. He is fourteen when he meets his twin for the first time. The grief somehow feels worse now that he knows he's alive.)
Alternativly: two autistic soulmates fuck shit up and act cute together while Leonardo tries and fails to get his long lost twin to come home.
