“It looks to me like you’re hanging from a tree,” Dunk said slowly, unsure if pointing out the prince’s failings could be considered a crime of some sort. Rafe would be furious if he lost his head because he insulted a prince.
“Ah, so you were blessed with eyes after all,” the prince smiled sardonically.
Long ago, Dunk knew Aerion as a child, but much has changed since then, and now he must take the prince to Lys before he could set out with Egg.

Hoseok lets out an embarrassed laugh, not fighting back at all. “I apologize, Your Highness. I forgot myself for a moment because you’re too handsome. I suddenly felt compelled to touch you.”
“Sweet talker,” King Yoongi spits out the accusation.
As part of a rebel human group, Hoseok plans to become the King's concubine in order to get close to him and assassinate him for enslaving his people. However, the closer he gets to Yoongi, the more complicated things will become.

Summary
Hoseok squints, lifting his hand to use it as a shield. The other man’s hair is longer since the day Hoseok last saw him, and now the loose strands fly in front of his eyes. Hoseok’s body reacts at once: stiffening, his stomach filled with anticipation, fear and hope, his heart picking up the pace. The same reaction every time he sees his old rival. Every time he sees Min Yoongi.
Hoseok is forced to take a break from racing after a nasty fall. If boredom doesn't kill him, then the sight of his old rival might.

Summary
The sound of shoes scratching against the road and a big sigh is Hoseok’s signal to look up at the officer above him, gazing in a very particular way. It’s the gaze that gets him what he wants: men on their knees or bent over for him, often begging for him.
“Officer Min Yoongi-ssi,” Hoseok pronounces his name carefully, seductively. “Are you here to arrest me again? Will you handcuff me this time? Why don’t you join me in the back of your car for once?”
“Still got that filthy mouth of yours, I see,” Yoongi observes factually without much emotion.
Hoseok likes trouble and Yoongi. Mostly Yoongi. But not enough to be emotionally vulnerable with him.

“Oh, you think I’m undermining you somehow by taking your side?” Yoongi asks, almost appalled.
“You weren’t taking my side. You were making me look weak,” Hoseok snaps. As the words leave his mouth, he can feel his anger burying itself deeper inside him. He wishes he could just grab Yoongi’s collar and do something that he would likely regret.
“Was I?”
“Yes, of course, you were.”
“So, what are you doing now?” Yoongi takes a step closer to him, his chest almost touching Hoseok’s arms. “Chasing after me so you can gain back some of your self-respect?”
“In a way,” Hoseok replies as nonchalantly as he can manage.
Among the four wolf heirs, Hoseok, as a human, stands out like a sore thumb. Entering the most prestigious university alongside the other successors feels the perfect time to finally find his place. Mystery lingers, though, and his petty rivalry with Yoongi gnaws at him until his buried feelings slowly resurface.

Hoseok’s frown deepens considerably as he leans toward Yoongi, “Are you… jealous?
Yoongi barks out a surprised laugh, his heart painfully squeezing.”What? Of course not. I don’t care what you do or who you marry. It’s none of my business.”
“You’re right. It’s none of your business,” Hoseok straightens up, folding his arms across his chest. Strangely he looks a little amused. “Unless you were thinking about the deal we made at eighteen? The marriage deal.”
Five years after the Great Divide, the kingdom is finally whole again. Everyone is happy except Yoongi, who's all too conscious of everything he lost, including his best friend, Hoseok.

He feels himself softening up as he whispers, “Don’t look at them. Look at me.” Hoseok turns, surprise coloring all his features. “Play along, okay?”
As soon as Hoseok nods, Yoongi gently takes his wrist, positions his arm to be on top of the table, and pushes his sleeve down just enough to expose where his scent gland would be on his wrist.
His wolf perks up the second his nose touches the delicate inside part of Hoseok’s wrist.
Yoongi hates being inside the royal palace until he doesn't anymore.

“Your grandmother always said that it’s haunted,” Hoseok clarifies but he doesn’t look like he’s taking it very seriously. “I think someone died in this house.”
“Didn’t my grandmother die here?”
“Dying of old age is peaceful,” Hoseok says simply, but it sounds so strange to Yoongi in some way. It makes sense and yet…
Yoongi swallows nervously. “Wha– Are you saying someone died in his house violently?”
“Would explain the haunting.”
Yoongi moves into his deceased grandmother's estate to claim his inheritance and makes a new friend there. Hoseok is an unexpected but pleasant surprise. Everything is going quite well; though the jack-in-the-box toy that keeps appearing in his house is more than creepy.

“You smell so good,” Yoongi says, and he sounds positively delirious. His voice is warm and gentle and Hoseok thinks he could get lost in it.
“Do I?” A burst of embarrassed laughter slips past Hoseok’s lips. He hardly had the opportunity to shower yesterday, but he still says, “Thank you.”
Yoongi’s fingers uncurl and they press against Hoseok’s stomach as his mouth moves against the crock of his neck, “Yeah, you smell like me.”
An arrow and a death can change everything. Hoseok didn’t think he would ever cross the creek that separates the human tribe from the wolf pack, but when fresh blood is sticking to his clothes and a wolf howls for revenge, the only person who might be able to save him is his alpha best friend, Yoongi.

Hoseok is blindsided by his parents when he is made to marry the rival kingdom's crown prince, Yoongi, because of a peace treaty. Feeling hurt and betrayed by his family and worried about what a marriage might look like with an alpha, he doesn't plan on compromising with his new husband.

“I miss you scenting me all the time,” Hoseok adds, instead of answering the question. “Don’t you want to do it now?” Yoongi stares at him hard, his arms unfolding because, of course, he wants to. He’s not sure that he should, though. Hoseok steps closer, pointing at him. “You told me that your wolf imprinted on me. Is that… Did he change his mind?” He gently pokes the middle of Yoongi’s chest, like he thinks his alpha is asleep and he’s trying to wake him up. “Were you only scenting me like that because of your alpha?”
As Yoongi is preparing for a world tour, his manager Seokjin hires a new choreographer to help them out with a few songs. It’s nothing out of the ordinary; Yoongi has worked with lots of people. "You will," Jack announces, leaning back in his seat, arms crossed over his chest.

“Are you happy, Hoseok-ah?” Yoongi whispers as though he almost doesn’t want Hoseok to hear his question. As though he’s afraid of the answer even before it leaves Hoseok’s lips.
“I am,” Hoseok replies but the corner of his lips that are curling downward tells a different tale. He can’t help it though, because Yoongi’s head dips forward, a quiet sob breaks its way out of his throat and his hand grips his biceps harder. Yoongi wobbles before his forehead meets Hoseok’s shoulder.
Hoseok wishes that they were right for each other, wishes that they could meet again at the right time.

It’s even worse now because his flushed cheeks and the snowflakes on his lashes make him look even more angelic. Yoongi might consider breaking his bones for an angel like Hoseok.
