He resumes his movements after a second because he just cannot stand the feeling of cold wetness━ his own fault for turning at the worst time and accidentally colliding into the waiter that had been carrying their refill of iced waters to them. "What are you talking about?"
"That guy's looking at you like he wants to eat you instead of his meal." Kuroo pauses again. Bokuto sounds pissed.

He had not let himself be overcome by that ache for their easy companionship; but now, stepping over the threshold into the warm glow of the mansion lighting, all of the exhaustion and longing came crashing down all over him at once like an avalanche.
