Summary
Betazoids have been present in Human society for decades. Leonard McCoy, raised by a Human father and a Betazoid mother, is a rarity, but not an anomaly. Other than the occasional mental burnout from working in medicine, he gets along just fine.
That is, until he enlists in Starfleet and meets someone who is an anomaly, a half Vulcan who can’t seem to leave him alone and threatens to make an even bigger mess in his life than the one he went to the Academy to get away from.

He opens the cupboard near Jim’s table and makes a face at its lack of contents. “And before you ask, yes, you’ve been aware of this the past few loops. No, I haven’t figured out how to break it yet.” Bones pauses and opens another door in Jim’s cupboard and scowls. “What did you do with all your liquor?”
Jim blinks, his brain trying to process everything Bones just told him.
OR
Bones is stuck in a time loop. Jim isn't. He relearns this everyday.

More drinking. Kirk gets so drunk that he could “kiss Bones right on the mouth” and Bones, after asking him if he’s ever kissed a man, kisses him. They’re both p drunk, but aware enough to be surprised by what just happened. However they’re both p turned on and decide “hey might as well.” I enjoy sloppy, uncoordinated, and rough sex.
