“Wow, Javy. To the grave huh?” he scoffs, but no fire is held behind it. Javy lifts his drinks to Jake, saluting him, and gives him a sarcastic smile at his response.

“You write?” Payback questions with a curious tone.
“Um, yeah,” Jake awkwardly scratches the back of his neck.

Then Talia woke him up at 2 am, threw three children at him, and told him to get them to America and far away from Ra's al Ghul.
What the fuck.
The last thing he wanted was to see Bruce. But with three brats relying on him and no Talia, there weren't many options for sanctuary. He just didn't expect the kids to grow on him so much in two short weeks.
