Shouyou’s neck heated up with embarrassment. It was one thing writing it and quite another to have it be repeated back to him. Especially when Kageyama did it like that.

Summary
When Shouyou was 8 years old, his life changed twice just a few days apart.
He wasn't exactly the happiest when his status results came in, because he always wanted to discover the world, to explore it all, and he knew that omegas still had many limitations. That, until he saw the tiny giant on those tv screens while riding his bike.
Not only he, also an omega, had gotten to college –to the prestigious Karasuno– but he did so to play sports.
It was then when he decided to follow his footsteps, to become the next great omega to conquer the volleyball world and go to nationals. And so he did… Or well, he was halfway there.
When Shouyou was 18 years old, his life changed once again. Living with a new pack, finally having an actual team, and even a partner... He thought he knew it all, he knew himself and how the world worked, but maybe, just maybe, he was wrong.
All he ever wanted was to play volleyball, but maybe he could want other things too.

“Well, do you think the distance is because you’re beta? Since you don’t contribute much within a pack dynamic.” Yeosang couldn’t even hide his sharp inhale that time, but the interviewer carried on either not caring or noticing his discomfort.
“Or do you think that distance is due to a lack of compatibility in professional settings, seeing as outside of visuals you don’t do as much as the others.”
Yeosang felt like the walls were closing in on him.
After a horrible interview, Yeosang finds himself spiralling with insecurities about his place both within the group as both a performer and a pack member and makes the decision to leave their home during San's rut, thinking that he's unneeded. Needless to say, the rest of the pack has something to say about this.

Summary
Sometimes, when Kiyoomi’s working in the evening on the couch in his room, Atsumu will come out of his own room, dressed in clothes a little too large for him. Kiyoomi shifts over wordlessly, and Atsumu happily crawls onto the couch next to him, a comforting warmth pressing into his side.
Atsumu curls up next to Kiyoomi whenever they have one of their lessons, and Kiyoomi no longer flinches when Atsumu ducks behind him, nearly pressed up against the length of Kiyoomi’s back as someone from the mansion throws them a nasty look. Wherever Kiyoomi goes, Atsumu’s only a couple paces behind.
Kiyoomi finds, much to both Motoya’s and his own surprise, that he doesn’t mind it.

Tobio squints at the ceiling for a moment. “Do you think if we made a registry we could still get gifts?”
“We should try,” Hinata says, “I’ve always wanted one of those fancy rice makers with all the buttons.”
“Oh my god,” Tsukishima says, “They’re actually just going to go with this, aren’t they?”
“I’ve heard being married is better,” Tobio says, shrugging, “For tax purposes… And health stuff and all that junk.”
“Yeah!” Hinata says, nodding rapidly, “For tax purposes!”
Or, Hinata and Kageyama accidentally get married during Asahi and Noya's bachelor party. They stay that way.

Summary
Kageyama blinks once before a grin of his own spreads over his face. Shouyou’s breath halts in his lungs at the sight, and he wills for time to stop, just so that he can drink it in. He sees it sometimes when they’re playing - Kageyama’s fierce smile when they pull a combo off just right, when they show their opponents how possible the impossible can really be. But then there’s another serve, another rally, and the moment is gone.
'Shame,' Shouyou thinks to himself, as he lets his eyes roam over Kageyama’s stupidly happy face, taking in the creases that are from joy rather than frowning for a change. 'It’s a really nice smile.'

In which it's their third, and final, year in high school and Hinata has only one goal: to make Kageyama smile outside of volleyball.

Kuroo is SO EXCITED to finally live with Kenma now that they're both at university. But now that Kenma is more confident and more comfortable with himself, Kuroo wonders if he's the only one who's been waiting for their life together to begin.
“If it takes Kenma ten years to realise that he doesn’t want me as a romantic partner, then that’s ten years I get to spend with him while he figures it out. Maybe at that point we’ll have a house and five cats and he’ll decide it’s too much of a hassle to move out.”
Yaku stares at him. “That’s the saddest, most desperate thing I've ever heard.”

Kei’s breath seems to catch somewhere just out of reach, a small stuttering of inhales before he’s exhaling all at once and quietly agreeing. “Yeah, okay,” is all he says, but it’s enough.
“Good boy,” Tadashi says, his teasing tone overwhelmed by the relief evident in his voice. He’s too tired and too elated to put any effort into trying to regulate himself anymore. He’s out like a light soon after and misses the way the tense breathing pattern across the room ceases all together for nearly a whole minute before slowly, slowly resuming.

Tadashi hates being asked by girls to deliver their love notes to his best friend who he also happens to be in love with. "Volleyball," Kenma says shortly, ignoring their annoyed little sighs, and returns his expression to the screen. He's died. Figures.
After that he starts paying attention. More attention to the social aspects, at least. Kenma always pays a fair percentage of his attention to Kuroo. He sort of demands it. And. Kuroo does get a lot of female attention.
