“Look,” Will says, turning fully on the pallet to face Mike, one hand reaching down for the rough wood to find purchase and ground him. “Do you-, do you want to show me. Like-, like want to practice?”
Mike’s eyes widen but he doesn't say anything.
“Sorry, stupid idea, just wanted to help.” Will is trying to gather the words back up from the air between them and into his mouth.
“I never thought it was stupid.” Mike says, so quietly it's not much more than an exhale. “I suggested it first.” He adds, like it's a secret.
Will grips the pallet harder. “Show me. I really do want to help.”
Mike bites his lip a sec, and Will thinks he's going to say no, but then Mike's darting forward and pressing his lips firm and quick against Will’s. It's barely a kiss. Not romantic. Not enough to leave a scar. Will bleeds anyway.

“Thanks,” he praises, throwing a wink to an agape Arthur as he does. It’s wonderful.

Summary
Will chewed on his bottom lip as he actually considered.
Maybe there was a way to give himself some relief and both of them some entertainment. Being able to see ahead, he’d noticed there hadn’t been any cars in either direction for a while now. He’d checked the map recently too, there was nothing for Mike to do but keep cruising straight for miles.

"How do you know that?"
Arthur closed his eyes, expression riddled with irritation before turning to look at Merlin expectantly.
"Know what?"
“The mare I use. You know I call her Daisy? I never told you that." Merlin explained. Arthur stared for a few moments. He could see the flicker of emotions pass easily over him. Anger, annoyance, exasperation, indignance, and finally acceptance...AKA the Five Stages of Grief (Pendragon Edition).
"You talk to the horse.” He pointed out. Merlin narrowed his eyes.
“I whisper to the horse."
"...am I supposed to not hear it?” Arthur asked. Merlin wondered how likely it would be that he also heard him whispering magical spells if he heard him murmuring to the bloody horse. “Also, only you would choose such a ridiculous name.” He muttered. Merlin swallowed. This wasn't a problem at all, right? Right.

"I mean, friends kiss, right? Max and El do it all the time." Mike said, his gaze bouncing across Will's features frantically as if he was looking for his next line somewhere between the freckles that lay on the bridge of Will's nose. Will tried to ignore just how often Mike's eyes fell down onto Will's spit-slicked lips.
Will wasn't sure if they were going to overlook the fact that Max and El have actually been dating for almost a year now. But Mike didn't mention it, so neither did Will. Instead, Will inched his face a little closer, so close that their noses brushed and he could practically feel the heat radiating off of Mike's flushed cheeks.
"Yeah, friends kiss," Will said simply.
"Yeah?" Mike asked.
"Yeah," Will confirmed. Mike nodded, almost dumbly. His eyes stayed steady on Will's lips now.
"Okay." Mike shuddered.
"Okay," Will whispered.They kissed again.
Logline: While home alone in Mike's bedroom, Will and Mike realize just how much they've been hiding from each other and themselves. Who knew their deepest secrets were hidden behind their lips and beneath their clothes?

Summary
“And you know what?” Merlin goes on, his voice low and menacing in a way Arthur barely recognises, “Arthur is a so much better King than you ever could be, in spite of what a horrible father you were. He’s kind and just, and his people love him so much more. It’s not magic that has poisoned this kingdom, it was your fear—no, your guilt that you couldn’t bear to live with, like the coward you are. All you’ve lost, you only have yourself to blame for.”
Arthur doesn’t need to see his father’s face to picture the fury perfectly. As it is, his head is spinning too badly to process most of what was said, the words tumbling over each other and becoming blurred.
His father doesn’t seem to have such problems.
Or: When Merlin confronts Uther's ghost, he finds that he has a few more things to tack onto his rant. It really depends on who you ask if it’s unfortunate or not that for once, Arthur doesn’t stay unconscious for just the right amount of time.

Mike feels Will’s eyes burning into him when he smiles at her, trying his best to look sheepish, “It was on a whim, didn’t think it was important.”
There's a lot he hadn't told them and a lot he hopes they never find out.
Mike Wheeler believes he can change, or at least he hopes he can, because otherwise there's no way he'll ever be able to fix himself before his girlfriend and his best friend come back and figure out what a freak he's become. But maybe change isn't up to him because everything he does seems to make matters worse, including the way he just can't seem to stop thinking about his best friend.
