And really, if the narrowing of his eyes as he scrutinised Aesop all over wasn't enough, taking a step forward and essentially conquering Aesop’s personal space was enough to send the younger mage into a silent panic.
“On your way to class, are you?” Joseph asked him, voice low and magnetic.
Aesop swallowed, “Y-yes?”
Joseph leaned down, chuckling, “Do you like sweets, Aesop?”
