“Did you remember to get the first batch out of the oven?”
With a hum, Kate spins them both in place once, her eyes glinting. “Let me see… I can’t smell anything burning, so I think I did. I also put on the second batch just before you got back, and I even remembered to set the timer and everything. I did the dishes, too.”
“I am impressed, Kate Bishop,” Yelena deadpans. “All that and you didn’t need to use the fire extinguisher even once.”

“I have a list of things that Enid finds icky, and you’re going to feed them to him,” Wednesday said.

“i can see that…every time i see yelena, and i look into her eyes, i can see how tired she is. i can see that she wants out, too. so how did you get through to natasha? how did you help her see?” kate asks softly. clint is quiet for a long time, only the sound of his breathing and the kids cheering in the background letting her know he’s still there before he finally responds.
