The siren's touch was cool, silken against Quackity's skin. He pulled the man closer, almost tenderly, letting his tail loop around him to keep them together despite the current's efforts to separate them. His honeyed eyes flicked over Quackity's face, taking in the sight of the man.
He couldn't remember the last time a human had looked at him this way. No fear, no anger, just... awe. It was almost cute. Almost enough to make him guilty. Almost. At least, that’s what he told himself.
"You're beautiful," he whispered softly, his breath ghosting over Quackity's cheeks in the form of gentle bubbles. Something akin to remorse stabbed through his chest as he watched this man drown. He looked so sweet.

“Something has been stolen from us,” Thanatos said, his wings puffing up as he spoke. “Something that is very important to us. And we are fairly certain that the person who stole this thing of ours is in this very crowd.”
Dream tensed beside Tommy as the crowd broke out into murmurs. Eyes were darting towards the different heroes in the crowd, the benefactors no doubt assuming that the culprit had to be a hero.
“Like we said, we haven’t crashed your party to cause trouble. But we want this thing returned to us, and we won’t hesitate to take extreme measures to get what we want.”
or, Tommy was a lot of things: a newly debuted hero sidekick, an amnesiac, and a former kidnapping victim of the Syndicate.
Tommy didn't actually remember that last one though. That was just what Dream told him.
Only weeks after his hero debut, the Syndicate announces they are searching for something, and Tommy knows it has to be him. The scariest part? If they find him, Tommy will have no clue what to expect, because the Syndicate might know him, but he has no memories of them.
So he can't let them find him. No matter what.
Of course they end up finding him anyway.

Summary
Dr. Robotnik - who now prefers the name Eggman - has resorted to living underground after a major loss to Sonic the Hedgehog. Still in communication with Agent Stone, he uses the agent to uncover something that can defeat Sonic. Enter Shadow the Hedgehog, a near replica of the blue blur created by Eggman's grandfather. Eggman convinces Shadow to find the Master Emerald so they can get what they want. However, Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles aren't so generous. In a desperate attempt to prevent Shadow from succeeding, Knuckles shatters the Master Emerald, causing all seven chaos emeralds to scatter across Earth. It is a race against the clock as Sonic and friends try to retrieve all seven emeralds before Shadow does. Along the way, they will encounter the return of Eggman, but not without running into some new faces.
