Summary
When Steve gets trapped in the Upside Down, Vecna offers him a deal: become lieutenant of the monster armies and gain some of Vecna’s power, in exchange for being the bait to lure his friends back to rescue him. Steve takes the deal, believing wholeheartedly in the Party’s ability to save him and finally kill Vecna, but discovers quickly that his power to infiltrate the memories and dreams of people in the real world is very limited; in fact, he can only visit one person in his new monster form.
Thus begins Steve’s haunting of Eddie Munson, who, coincidentally, has been in love with Steve since they started secretly hooking up after a Halloween party in 1984.
Or: Steve is Kas, and also Eddie's secret boyfriend.

Summary
When Steve and his father’s band of hunters stumble across the Incubus they’ve been tracking, he doesn’t expect to be so intrigued, wanting to protect the demon from harm by his fellow hunters. It must be the creature’s powers working on him, making him seek more from Eddie than he should want.
Shunned by both Humans and Incubi, Eddie's just trying to survive, keeping to himself in the woods and only venturing into towns whenever he needs to feed on sex. He knows danger is always lurking, but he doesn't expect a whole hunting party chasing him. Nor does he expect to get tangled up in his own tricks when he attempts to seduce Steve, wondering who is charming who.
