Luke Lars enlisted in the Imperial Academy to follow in the footsteps of his father and see the stars. Things haven't quite gone according to plan, but it'll all have been worth it when he graduates at the top of his class—and with deployment so close, what does he have to fear? Everything changes when he and the other top ten pilots are shipped off to Theed to participate in the military parade last minute. He just needs to figure out who's being punished—Captain Bellac, who's always on the verge of a breakdown, him and his companions, who have been thrown in the middle of this entire mess, or Lord Vader.
