Benedict had only the purest and upmost of intentions when he had exited Bridgerton House that afternoon. Pure was not the most popular term used in reference to the free spirited artist, but on this day he swore he had been up to nothing but the purest of good things in visiting his brothers home today.
That being said….The second born had always found Miss Penelope Featherington to be an alluring sight, his perceptive eye taking in the majesty of the world in all its lovely forms and Penelope had had a most pleasing one. He recalled several occasions in which he jokingly-but-not-really requested she pose nude for him. He thought a Scottish Aphrodite would his great exhibition in the Paris art scene. Alas, Penelope had disagreed most animatedly.
His mouth had set in a most displeasing manner realizing that Anthony of all people had been afforded his dying wish!? The unfairness of it all almost sent him into a Daphne sized freakout. And then-
" O- oh my- Anthony!"
