"It's just thunder, Lia," Sebastian said, trying not to roll his eyes, since he knew she would be upset. Secretly, Sebastian couldn't help but feel a little proud. After all, he wasn't afraid of thunderstorms and Lia was, even though he was only 7 and a half and she was already 8. Still, he couldn't help but feel bad, even though he thought she was being a bit of a sissy.

This is mostly self-indulgent but if anybody reads and actually enjoys it, that's a plus. Currently ON HIATUS due to changing hyperfixations - Can be read as is, but is likely an unsatisfying stopping point.
