Tony scrubbed his hand through his hair. "Fucking Ross is going to have a field day with this if he finds out nearly 300 aliens with superhuman strength are planning to land on our planet, claim some sort of asylum, and one of them is a known war criminal who has apparently recently destroyed a planet. And he thought Steve was a liability," he muttered to himself, trying to think through how this could work without losing everything he'd worked for since Siberia.
“Firstly,” Loki said, now coming on screen to stand beside Thor and Bruce, “Asgard was technically a planetoid. Secondly, it wasn’t actually me that did it, I just resurrected a fire giant and he did it.”
Tony drummed his fingers on the workbench as he studied the unlikely trio in front of him. Loki still gave off the air of a disgruntled cat, but this time the cat seemed less likely to immediately bite his hand, and substantially better fed and groomed. Of course he was still a cat, pet him in the wrong place and there'd no doubt be blood... Aaaand that was far enough with that analogy.
What a day this was shaping up to be.

Oh, he had done it, all right. How embarrassing. Here he was, the oldest of his unstable little family, pissed drunk. Again. And not even the good drunk, too, like when he would dance with Delores with the warmth of her favourite salvaged Bordeaux replacing the need for the body warmth of a breathing person; no, this was the bad drunk, the type that made all that nastiness and hate and pain that he normally funneled towards the people who made his and his family’s lives hell point inwards, as if all of Diego's knives were lodging deep in his soul. This was the drunk that hurt and demanded to hurt more.
Five has a drinking problem. Not the best coping mechanism he could have acquired. Set post-canon sans the de-aging.

A relationship is all about balance. Two men and two women, two Morning and two Evening. All four parties, then, should come together organically. But everyone knows that that only really happens in stories. The real world is less perfect, less tidy. Everyone understands that it’s not unnatural for a Morning girl to find her Evening boy first, and for the two of them to seek out an Evening girl and a Morning boy afterwards. Or maybe a Morning girl finds her Evening girl first-it’s less common, but just as acceptable.
A Morning girl choosing her Morning boy first, though? That makes people uncomfortable.
