Captain Kirk had taken 8.32 hours to deduce the identity of his captors, track their sale to this organized crime leader, formulate a plan to infiltrate the auction and execute it. Quite excellent work. The only tasks available to Spock in this time, due to his capture, were to observe as much as he could about this place and to resist the sense-heightening and aphrodisiac effects of the cinnamon they dosed him with.
In this, Spock had failed miserably, and he was persistently the most sexually aroused he had ever been in his life.
