Summary
"We were never friends." The words were harsh, spat out in Vox's face like a snake spitting venom on its poor, unsuspecting victim.
Vox just blinked, "What? But- you told me, we were-"
Alastor just waved his hand dismissively, and Vox instinctively fell silent, a subtle static buzzing across his screen as Alastor let the final blow land with a barking laugh.
"Lies, Vincent. I thought you knew that. I didn't realise you had become soft."
-
Vincent had died a brutal death, crushed and electrocuted in the heat of a baptism, and found himself in Hell, not surprising, in a body that wasn't his. He knew well that loyalties had to be taken at an arm's length and friendships had to be double guessed. So maybe it was his own fault for growing attached.OR: Vox lands in Hell and finds his life intertwined with a certain radio demon. For better or for worse.

Summary
Vox got flustered easily when it came to him, Valentino noticed. Others could say the exact same thing, with the same and he'd shoot them an annoyed glare and wave them off, but with Valentino, it was like the man was short circuiting to keep his own composure.
Valentino got just as flustered when it came to Vox, he'd noticed. Much more flustered than you'd expect a demon of porn to get at towards such simple words.
-
Or. 5 times when Val flustered Vox and one time when Vox finally flustered him back. -

Summary
"I haven't seen you here before." The man almost purred the words, his accent thick. Vox doesn't look up from his drink, he wasn't about to grace another with a glance in their direction.
"I haven't been here before." He answered instead.
"Ah," The other replies, "Allow me to make it worth your while?"
-
Alone, and his pride wounded, Vox finds solace in the bright lights of the various clubs spotted around Pentagram City. One thing leads to another and suddenly he's dancing with a man who piques his interest. -

It just wants to make its father proud.

Summary
"How do you kill a demon who lives in your head?
For Vox, the answer was simple: you delete him. But the heart and the hard drive aren't always in sync. After a desperate medical intervention to save his sanity, Vox wakes up to a world where the name 'Alastor' means nothing.
It's a victory for the Vees. It's a fresh start for Vox. But for the man left standing in the shadows, it’s a living nightmare. Because there is no cruelty quite like being forgotten by the only person who ever truly saw you."

Summary
Hell is other people. Purgatory is being a twenty something weatherman with the memories of a being a media overlord who had the entirety of Hell wrapped around his finger.
Sent back to his mortal life with a chance to "do it right this time", Vox has a problem. The Angels have installed a patch in his soul: the Pacifist Protocol. If he tries to kill a rival, poison a boss, or throw a punch, he is paralyzed by blinding agony.
He cannot claw his way to the top if he can't use his claws. He needs a loophole.

Summary
The silence stretched between them then, thick and awkward. Not because they had nothing to say; because they had too much. Too many questions neither wanted to voice first. Too many unspoken rules from Hell suddenly meaningless here.
Vox finally stood, joints cracking in protest. Annoying. Stupid human body. “Look. All I know is we woke up like this. On Earth. Together. With all our memories and none of our powers. So, congratulations, deer boy, you’re stuck with me.”
Alastor pinched the bridge of his nose, inhaling sharply through his teeth. “Let me get this straight. I have been forcibly deposited into a mortal vessel, next to you, with no warning, no explanation, and no immediate means of escape?”
“That’s the gist,” Vox said.
Alastor stared at him.
Then laughed.
Or Alastor and Vox find themselves trapped in Purgatory with human bodies.

Summary
Welcome to the VoxTek Family.
Surviving the first day is just the beginning. It wouldn’t be Hell without working a corporate job under the Vees—where chaos, gossip, and questionable leadership are all part of the daily grind.
