Summary

But they are just as cruel as the rain, with cackling laughter and how they find joy in the pain of others. They are infinite. And maybe that, in the end, is why they are so terrifying to stare at.

Summary
There is exactly one person who remembers the name Peter Parker, and that’s Spider-Man. Although the spell prevented the multiverse from tearing itself apart, Peter’s problems are far from over. The number of people calling for his arrest grows every day, and it’s not easy to live your life when you no longer exist.
Luckily for him, the apartment above him belongs to two really good lawyers, and they know every vigilante in the city. With their help — and the assistance of two Avengers intent on rising from the dead — Peter may just be able to find his way in this strange new world.

“This is a goddamn disaster.” Peter declared miserably. At least he hadn’t thrown up his food.
“Could be worse.” MJ said across from him. Peter lifted up his head.

MJ shrugged. “They could have expelled you instead.”

Peter wouldn’t be going to see an Avengers-level Geneticist. He definitely wouldn’t be going to see a baby or animal doctor, so that left the Pediatric Oncologist.
The cancer doctor.
Or, Somehow, while trying to keep both his internship and Spider-Man a secret, Peter has managed to convince his whole school that he is dying of cancer.

As much as he didn’t particularly want attention from him, it sucked that he was still thought of as a liar. But, he also didn’t really want his teammates to find out how close he was to Mr. Stark. That was only a few conclusions away from figuring out that he is Spider-Man.
Ned looked equally disappointed but dropped it. “Well… it’ll still be fun, right?”

Summary
The moment Mr. Harrington stepped further into the classroom, revealing the figure standing behind him, Peter was pretty sure that he had stepped into an alternate reality. That, or someone was playing a nasty joke on him.
The person standing directly behind his teacher, waving cheerfully at the decathlon team, was dressed in a replica of the second gen Spiderman suit. It was about as close as one could get from referencing pictures and videos, and they guy was a similar enough build that Peter could see how people would be fooled.
A frightening thought struck him that he might be fooled too if he wasn’t actually Spiderman.
