Katsuki grits his teeth. “Bullshit. You’ve been a danger to everyone since the moment you got One For All. Why does it matter now?”
Izuku hates this. He hates Katsuki for not understanding. Katsuki didn’t see how Shigaraki’s spikes sprayed his blood into the sky, how he was a few lucky inches away from certain death. Izuku sees it every time he closes his eyes. He sees it every time he tries to get a few hours of sleep in these shitty rundown apartments.
“Because people will die, Kacchan! I can’t risk that! Shigaraki and All For One are stronger than ever. Nothing is worth putting innocent lives in danger. I don’t care what I have to do. I’ll stay in hiding for as long as it takes.”
Or, during the Vigilante Deku arc, Katsuki finds Izuku on his own, instead of with the whole class. Arguments and confessions ensue as Katsuki tries to convince Izuku to come back to UA.

“He’s still not stable, okay? And usually we wouldn’t allow too many visitors in case he’s exposed to something that could make him worse. But I want you to know. Every time he’s woken up, he’s asked for you specifically."
--When Katsuki Bakguou is taken by a villain and barely escapes death, it has him reflecting on his relationships with people. During his recovery, he can't ignore the nagging, warm feeling in his chest whenever Izuku Midoriya is around. Which is a lot, considering he's the one taking care of Katsuki.
or: Katsuki Bakugou is like a stick of butter. When baking, it's sometimes necessary to soften the butter by nuking it in a microwave.

His breath catches in his throat the second he sees it. Around Katsuki’s eyes, there’s some smudged black eye makeup that was left behind. Like when you use a makeup wipe to take off mascara, but then you’re left with this like smokey black line around your eyes.
Fuck.
His eyes look so red, so bright in contrast to the makeup residue that lines his eyes. Katsuki wears eye makeup with his mask, making it look sleek and flush against his eyes while he’s doing hero work. Outside of hero work, he doesn’t wear it. Besides the smudged bits that are left behind sometimes, but even that is a rare sight.
Why does it turn Izuku on so fucking much?
OR
Izuku has a thing for the way Katsuki's eyeliner looks all smudged around his eyes when he gets off work.

"Dynamight, you're amazing!" A familiar voice gushed, and Izuku could just picture the stars in his eyes as he spoke.
"Shit. Is that so?" An even more familiar voice drawled amusedly. "Tell me more," Katsuki said in a flirtatious tone that Izuku had never heard before. He had never felt jealousy like this before, so potently and physically in his body. He wanted to reach out and grab Katsuki, so he clenched his fists in his lap instead.
"The way you utilize your quirk is amazing! Yes, you have a strong quirk, but the control you have over it and the way you apply it in battle is what makes it amazing. You make it amazing," The hero talking to Katsuki was his ex-student, whom Izuku held in high esteem. But the lines he was feeding Katsuki were taken word for word from Izuku's lesson on quirk usage and control. Unfortunately, by the way Katsuki was leaning in and tilting his head, Izuku's words had worked when they came from someone else.

A disastrous landslide caused by an earthquake takes out most of UA's dorms, leaving some buildings heavily damaged and many more completely uninhabitable. Class 1-A is lucky that their dorm was right on the edge of the disaster zone and so only slightly damaged, but things are about to get a lot more crowded.
Midoriya Izuku and Bakugō Katsuki end up assigned to a room together by random selection, the heating and cooling systems start to go haywire, and all of this may just end up being the start of something new, unexpected, and maybe even wonderful.

Katsuki tried to move again, but it was useless. Too much weight pinning him down. If he used his quirk to blow the rubble up, he could end up aggravating the fragile building and making it collapse further. He remembered his friends were down there, on the first floor, and maybe Kirishima was there too. He didn’t want to accidentally make more rubble fall on the top of them.
The thought made a shiver run down his spine, and he trembled. Fuck. This was supposed to be a fun day out. A hang out session between friends who missed each other and wanted to have some time off before school started again. This wasn’t supposed to be a disaster.
Alternatively, class 1-A is caught in a building collapse, and Katsuki and Izuku end up stuck together.

Izuku wishes he felt annoyed but it’s far from that. Instead there’s laughter ringing from his throat, loud and unhinged. He can’t stop the ripples that undulate through his stomach, the bright warmth that explodes like a firework beneath his sternum.
Most of all, there’s yearning, an ache that plucks at his heartstrings. But maybe it has never left. Maybe it’s an old wound buried so deep inside him he’d forgotten it was there. The bitterness of coffee rekindles the ache.

“What is … your hero partner’s type?”
A brief silence.
“‘Type?’” Izuku questioned at the same time as Kacchan.
“Yes, type,” the host laughed. “Like, who would they date? What are they into?”
The blood drained from Izuku’s face and he shot a panicked look at Kacchan. The blond didn’t seem to be faring any better, his gaze zeroed in on Hanazawa as if he could will her to change the question to something else.
Izuku... didn't know the answer to that.

In order to increase their popularity rankings as up and coming pro heroes, Izuku and Katsuki participate in the most popular late night talk show for hero duos - ‘Heroes Rising!’. They’re killing it, obviously, because they know each other from inside and out. Until one question stumps the two of them: “What is your hero partner’s type?”
