  1. Summary

It begins as a harmless game at Aubrey Hall, but one week is enough to unravel every rule of propriety. What follows is a quiet, relentless affair of stolen moments, shared secrets, and desire that refuses to fade. In a world built on decorum, Penelope Featherington and the Bridgerton brothers learn just how easily pleasure can undo restraint—and how curiosity can turn into an arrangement far more improper, intoxicating, and impossible to end.

  3. Summary

After a couple of freak accidents leave them temporarily able to see ghosts, Penelope and Colin each end up having a few unexpected heart-to-hearts with the dead. The spirits are blunt, sometimes a bit much, but their advice hits surprisingly close to home. With their help, Pen and Colin are pushed to face their insecurities, question old habits, and figure out who they are underneath everything.
The stories are completely separate—just two different takes on the same ghost-filled premise, loosely inspired by the TV show Ghosts (US version).

    Summary

Will raised an eyebrow at his friend's antics, then dropped his eyes to where he knew Dustin had reached a hand out towards him.

“This summer, we stick together. You and me, Byers.”

Will grinned, taking Dustin’s hand and shaking it. “You and me, Henderson.”

    A rewrite of S3:

The night Dustin gets back from Camp Knowhere, he brings the Party up to the highest point in Hawkins to set up Cerebro. He thought that his friends would be excited to have him back-- even if it wasn't the most entertaining to sit on a hill and talk into a radio with no response, he thought they would at least wait for him before going home. He thought it was going to be the best summer ever.

Instead, he finds himself and the one friend that didn't leave him, Will Byers, intercepting a weird Russian transmission.

And, well... if he couldn't have the best summer ever, at least he and Will would have an eventful one.

    Summary

He knows, Mike thinks, gaze finding Will’s still form in his mother’s arms just a couple feet away. They’d both been hovering a few feet in the air, one of Will’s hands still on Mike’s shoulder and both their eyes rolled back. Mike had seen it, dragged along towards the portal where Will refused to let go of his hand. Even now, one of Will’s hands is still stretched towards Mike, fingertips just barely brushing his ankle. Mike has the absurd urge to shove Lucas off of him, shove Mrs. Byers off of Will, and wrap his arms around Will himself.

He has another urge to run far, far away.

    --

In which Mike learns something about Robin and reflects on what he wants, Robin offers advice, and Will sets the record straight (or not so straight).

    Summary

Hopefully they weren’t. Hopefully he could slip in quietly, make his way to the bathroom for a hot shower, and then crawl back onto the makeshift air mattress on Mike Wheeler’s floor, letting sleep take him somewhere else for a change.

Unfortunately for Will, things never went quite the way he planned. He was so close—he’d managed to open and shut the front door without a sound, the only light in the house coming from the stairwell. He took it as his cue, stepping carefully up the stairs, around the corner, and—

    “Where have you been?”

    Right into Mike.

    ...

or: will is spiraling, mike is panicking, and yes, making out with a jock somehow seemed like a good idea at the time.
