    Summary

    The Bad Batch cowboys are finding their way through life in the isolated deserts known as The Wastes, where service and the law are equally nonexistent. Raised and aged out of the system together and subsequently kicked out of the army for refusing to be split up; the boys of Group Home 99 end up working the Desolate Rodeo and ranching operation for nothing but board and meals. Isolated from the world by desert and employer, the group of brothers carve out a simple life amidst the scrub brush, cattle, and lawless nothingness.

    We playing hard and fast with the rules of rodeos and ranching here. We in it for the boys in cowboy hats riding horses with their smallest adoptive sibling.

    Or, Dogma gets stuck accidentally knotting a gloryhole. Surely this won't have consequences. Surely he won't be mistaken for an omega in heat by the other 501st in 79's. Surely not.

    Tired of being sexiled and sexless, alpha Rey goes on alpha-omega dating app A2O. There she finds a new profile for KyloRen, a male omega in her area who is too old and way too big to be considered a catch. His heat is in less than a week.

    Her therapist is always telling her she can't save everybody and she doesn't owe this guy anything, but when he messages her, she can't pretend to be indifferent. She tells herself she just wants to get laid, that it's just for his heat, and that it's just pheromones making her think he's perfect for her.

    “Oh!” Rey exclaimed.

    He glanced at her, and a blush crawled over his cheekbones.

    “You’re, er, you’re really… close, huh?”

    He scratched his neck. “I may have miscalculated.”

    He smelled like… she couldn’t describe it. She’d never been very good at that. A swimming pool maybe. Not chlorine, but hot and glittery and playful but dangerous too if she wasn’t careful. Some secret place that could envelope her entirely, where she could lose hours.
