    CT-9904. Experimental Clone Batch 99. The Bad Batch. Crosshair. Time and time again, Crosshair was reminded of what he was made for. He was made for war, to fight for the Republic and die as a soldier on the battlefield, as so many brothers before him had done. But now the one closest to him, Tech, was gone, and life was now peaceful. Everything has changed, for better and for worse, and it's becoming hell for him.

    With every new treasure Phee Genoa, the Liberator of the Arts, finds, she returns it to its owners. What kind of galaxy would they have without it if there were no culture? After all, she had already gone through the grief of losing her own home. She can't let that happen to other people of Pabu. But when has she ever had time for herself now? Shep's been asking if she would ever look for something for herself rather than for others. What does Shep know? The Oath of the Wayfinder always finds what they're looking for at the end.

    Now that peace has finally settled down on Pabu, Phee and Crosshair each have their chance to relax and start a new life. Yet, there are always new pathways opening up adventures that neither thought would bring; this pirate and the sniper would begin a new path together.

    Instead of escaping Tantiss and reuniting with her family, Omega and Crosshair are shot down on an unknown plant wrought with ice and snow, injured, starving, and with no way of contacting the outside world.

    Or

    Omega must grapple with her newfound relationship with her wayward brother, thaw out his icy exterior, and decide what she will ignore, what she will hold onto, and what she must sacrifice for survival, suffering the consequences of morality. Crosshair must come to terms with the crippling loss of agency, his continued worth as a human being with the decisions he made, and accept his struggling love for a sister that never gave up on him. Together, the two clones of the long lost Bad Batch must come together to fight the depravity of humanity and their own moral codes to ensure their survival in an unforgiving world wrought with cold and starvation, hunted by an unknown force that shines of an aching familiarity.

    Not all is as it seems out here in the ice and snow.
