Caelus groaned once it finally dawned on him, face falling into his hands, pretending to ignore how different his face felt. “What happened?” He heard his own voice ask, cloth shuffling and the metal bed frame just barely creaking under what sounded like swift movement. “Herta.” Was all he said in explanation.
“Herta? What does–... Oh.” Dan Heng sighed, exasperated.
Caelus sighed as well, hands falling back down to his sides as he lifted his head, seeing the other sitting at the edge of the bed, socked feet placed on the ground, yet seeming almost hesitant to try to get up.

Summary
Caelus and Stelle were on their way to their college, but due to Caelus’s failure at directions, they went a different path toward the campus that was taking longer than their usual path. Good thing they had – for once – woken up early.
And on that path, there was a small café corner building that seemed homey and comfortable, with notes of astrological decals, at least on the interior—which the twins could see via the windows, a sign at the top labeled "Astral Express Café"~~
A Modern AU, where the Astral Express becomes a café, Caelus and Stelle are college students that come across the café, resulting in a sudden twist of fate.

“I was looking through this trash bin, almost had my hands on an old vinyl. There was this raccoon–” Caelus adds theatrically, “And, I mean, who’s gonna pass up one of those? The vinyl, not the raccoon. Anyway, long story short, it didn’t drop the vinyl, and raccoons are way faster than they look–” He adds, referencing Dan Heng’s vast knowledge of the animal kingdom, “I’m sure you knew that.”
Dan Heng huffs lightheartedly, “I’m not sure enough people have chased after raccoons for how fast they are to be a point of reference in their classifications.”

Another rough sound and moving shoulders. She looks at March with dark eyes and…hunger, almost. March can only imagine she mirrors that right now.
“Your boobs look really good,” Stelle breathes. Like a machine releasing steam, it's as if that comment was being held back and was clogging the systems.
Mm. Yeah. She's getting kissed tonight.
“Closer inspections are hard to come by,” March says. “But I could make an exception for you.”

Stelle works at the university's coffee shop and has a recurring customer who so happens to be the prettiest woman she has ever seen in her life. She always gets the same thing—a matcha mango sago—and leaves Stelle a flustered mess every time.

Summary
Dan Heng and Caelus have left the Astral Express crew and made their way down to Amphoreus, and everything immediately starts to go wrong. When they finally reach a semblance of safety and Dan Heng thinks he can start to relax, new nightmares invade his sleep, rendering him restless and exhausted. As long as Caelus is safe and doesn't notice, though, Dan Heng convinces himself he can just ignore it, that it's no different than the nightmares he's had before. Even if they do leave him with a strange, longing feeling for a few moments after waking. Unfortunately for him, his nightmares have a different plan. It doesn't help that his Nameless companion is far more observant than he's let on, and has definitely noticed a shift in how his best friend acts. And the need to know what's up is eating at him.
Will either of them ever realize how they feel before it's too late?
