Everything is going to hell, quite literally, the ground has opened up and the sky is red and all things considered not the worst thing going on for Will right now.
It may sound dramatic but he has done something like this before, maybe not the world ender spectacle that is threatening his hometown right now but close enough for him to find hell in the little things like having to stay with one Mike Wheeler for an undetermined amount of time while hiding the reason he considers this actual hell and not the ash raining from the red sky outside.
