Summary
“These creatures are called titans?” The one with the scarf asks, as if it’s totally normal to have never heard of titans before.
“Indeed.” Erwin says. "Forgive my rudeness, I forgot to introduce myself.” Like hell he had. “My name is Commander Erwin Smith.”
The man across from him blinks at the title before moving one hand up to his eyebrow, palm flat and facing the ground. “Sir.” He greets. “My name is Captain Link, although I admit I am not here in a professional capacity.”
A captain. That implies a military. That implies civilization.
Civilization that knows nothing of titans.
Civilization outside the damn Walls.
Levi can already feel the headache this shitstorm is about to cause forming.

Summary
“Eren, why are you crying?” The girl--Mikasa--now has worry present in her voice. It’s better than the casualness it once held, but still feels off. It’s too soft and gentle.
He wipes his eyes. He’s not sure why he’s crying. He doesn’t feel sad or happy or scared or anything else. He’s at the point where there is so much to feel but it’s too overwhelming so instead he feels nothing but aching numbness.
He stands and his body feels like it’s something disconnected from him. It’s almost like he’s in Titan form, where he’s in control and present but the body still feels distinctly other.
“Let’s go.” He states, and lets his feet lead him to a home that’s nearly a decade dead.
[Time travel fic, but with less of a focus on 'fixing everything' and more of a focus on how Season 4 Eren would deal with going back in time after he's already accepted his death and how that would impact this new timeline. Despite this, many things still get fixed.]

It was the announcement that the chūnin exams were coming up that got Rin thinking.
“Hello, Rin,” Minato-sensei says warmly.
“Hello, sensei.” She nods back as she takes off her sandals. “Pardon the interruption. I'm here to make a request of Kushina."
Kushina is on the couch in the living room, several papers on the table. They’re all take-out menus, which she appeared to have been in the middle of organizing methodically.
“Hello, Kushina.” She says, and pushes her confidence a bit higher so that it doesn’t die out. “I’ve come to become your student, and learn the ways of fūinjutsu.”
[Prequel to "we can take the world back from the heart-attacked", centered around Rin and her refusal to be left behind by her teammates from shinobi clans]

The only reason he’s hesitating right now is because of some stupid false hope he had let himself feel. Some notion that someday others will know of Virgil. That they’ll help him and love him and make him real.
Some stupid notion of family. Why would he ever get that? Bad guys don’t get their dreams fulfilled. They don’t deserve it. They don’t deserve anything but ruin.

“So please,” Thomas says, and his voice cracks. He reaches out a hand to Anxiety. “Give us another chance. And, please, give yourself one as well.”“I don’t deserve one,” Anxiety says, but it’s quiet, weak. There are tears in his own eyes, so he ducks his head and lets his bangs fall to cover his eyes.
“I think you deserve one most of all.” Thomas answers firmly.

[In which "Accepting Anxiety" didn’t happen quite the same way. In which Anxiety, unlike most other Sides, does not inherently have a name. Summary
This series is centered around an original soulmate AU I created.
Everyone has dots on the inside of their right wrist, signifying the amount and type of soulmates they have. Yellow colored dots are platonic, green are family, and red are romantic. They fade in color when a soulmate is in danger of dying or is dying, and fade completely when they are dead, leaving only a faint scar.
There is a letter on the inside of the dot that is the first letter of the person’s individual name. One you first touch your soulmate, the corresponding mark burns on your skin. When you both requite that love for each other, the dot burns cold and a black outline appears.
