Summary
Castiel is years past healing from a mental breakdown that landed him in the hospital for several months, until a certain green-eyed heartbreaker somehow strolls back into his life and starts to bleed into every aspect of Cas' life that apparently wasn't as stable as he thought.
Dean's just looking for safety; relief from the oppressive weight of his depression when he stumbles across a kind and genuine college student who just doesn't want to feel lonely anymore.
Sam wants more than the complicated relationship he has with his brother, but after years of abuse and misunderstandings he's afraid that he and Dean will never be able to move past the things that tore them apart in the first place.
Gabe wasn't trying to make things difficult for Castiel, but unfortunately Cas has the worst taste in men and in his defense, Dean is nothing like what Gabe was picturing.Series

Summary
Dean Winchester has spent his whole life cleaning up his father's messes. Now that his little brother, Sam, is settled in California and Bobby's got a handle on the garage, they convinced Dean to finally do something for himself. After a chance encounter at the Air Force recruitment fair Sam dragged him to, Dean got hooked on air traffic control, and he gets stationed at Kansas City Tower for his final leg of training. There, he has to impress his on-job instructor Castiel Novak, the ex-Air Force captain who piqued his interest in ATC in the first place. (And only in ATC. He swears. Those blue eyes and dark hair and stupid hat have nothing to do with it.) If all that wasn't hard enough, just one week into his OJT, Dean gets a call telling him his father is dying and has to move back home to live out his final days-which could be more like years.
Dean has to decide whether to continue to let his life be defined by his father's mistakes and his misguided obligation to everyone else, or if he's brave enough-and strong enough-to find a life in his own shape.

Beer swirled around the mug, ice clinking against the glass, light shifting in it like an amber kaleidoscope. Shane watched it listlessly, having fallen into a comfortable buzz. He was numbed, hardly aware of the rhythmic swirling of his wrist, nearly forgetting the cold weight that sat in the bottom of his lungs. Music and chatter echoed around him dully as he slouched against the counter. The only thing he bothered to process was the beer swirling blearily in front of him.
The sharp sound of the front door creaking open didn’t do anything to pull his attention away. His mind churned like one of those cement trucks. Slow, laborious, his thoughts smattering gravel inside his skull. Another shitty day living the shitty Joja way. Seeing the daily news over Morris’s shoulder as he used the company computer to surf the web on break… that made the daily drudgery that much more unbearable.
Someone plopped onto the barstool next to him, but Shane didn’t think to look up until a voice cut into his sluggish thoughts and a shadow fell across his drink.
“Hey, neighbor. You must be new here.”

Steven peers up at a fish–some kind of guppy, apparently–and smiles. His hands are on the glass, soft palms pressed onto the cold surface. He has a smile that appears only when he thinks no one is looking.
Marc looks, though. All the time. He looks at Steven’s tousled hair, his crooked glasses, the small crumb on the corner of his lip from the vegan cookie he demanded to try on their way to the aquarium.
I love you, Marc thinks.
“You’ve got something on your face,” he says instead.

First problem: He doesn’t know how he got here. Chilton’s car, likely, but he doesn’t have keys in his pocket, and there’s no sign of any vehicle at all.
Second problem: He also doesn’t know the extent of the carnage between here and the BSHCI, or even, with any real certainty (a lie, that’s a lie, isn’t he finished lying to himself?), that he caused it, which means he has no idea how quickly or easily law enforcement will find him.
Together, those problems leave him with very little to formulate an escape plan.
What he does have, though, is a gun and access to Hannibal Lecter’s house.

There’s something wrong with Will Graham. Missing time, strange injuries he can’t explain, and six dead BSHCI employees. But that’s fine; he’s on Hannibal Lecter’s doorstep with a gun. The answers can’t be far off.

Will thought he left his love for Hannibal -- secretly the brutal Chesapeake Ripper -- deep in his abandoned past as an FBI profiler, but as Christmas magic fills the air and Hannibal begins working his charm to the hilt to try and win his ex's heart again...perhaps Will is not quite so over Hannibal, after all.
