Summary
When Ren wakes up next, he’s not staring up at old, rotten ceiling beams, but instead LED neon lights that burn into his retinas. Sojiro Sakura wasn’t cool enough for those, nor did he have them anywhere in his back alley cafe, so where the hell is he?
He sits up and rubs his eyes, dressed not in his pajamas but in casual streetwear that’s cooler than anything he’s ever owned in his life. The floor is reminiscent of old 80’s arcade carpet, scratchy on his hands but pleasing to his eyes when paired with the lighting. There’s no one around that he can see, but he can hear ambient noise of arcade machines old and new, waiting to be played, and they’re too far away for him to be able to read the name plastered over the “Highest Score!” screen.
An excited gasp comes from somewhere behind him, startling him so bad it sends a chill up his spine as his heart rate spikes. Ren jumps up to stand and see who’s there, but whoever it was is gone.
That’s when the lights shut down.

Summary
The camera shot opens with a rustle of clothes, caught by the microphones clipped to their collars, as two people settle down opposite each other into the seats pulled out for them in the middle of the set. There’s a table in between, small but just wide enough for a pile of what looks like index cards and two bottles of hard liquor, lined up in a row with the labels facing the camera and the glass glinting under lights. There’s even two shot glasses neatly placed in front of them, along with two large glasses of what seems like juice to act as chasers.
Jaunty music starts playing. Someone’s voice-over. ‘So, do you know what you’re here today for?’
Zoro blinks at the camera, unimpressed. ‘To drink, I hope.’
Sanji snorts. ‘The whole point is to have to avoid drinking, dumbass.’
Three couples play "Truth or Drink". It goes as badly, or as well, as you would expect.

Reki knows his soulmate's name is Langa, but also knows it's very unlikely that snowboarding star Langa Hasegawa is his soulmate. Still, he keeps up on news about the guy and when he learns that Langa's father was killed in an accident, he starts sending him letters. Drawings, really, that he can't admit to himself are love letters. He just hopes they brighten Langa's day, if he's receiving them at all.
Everything gets turned upside-down, however, when that same Langa Hasegawa suddenly transfers to Reki's school. It'll make giving him the anonymous love letters a bit easier, though...
