“Damian,” Bruce says, very slowly, “do you know someone named Jason Todd?”
Damian frowns at him. “No?”
“Real tall guy,” the Joker suddenly pipes up from the holding cell, “white streak in his hair. Kinda looks like Bruce Wayne, if you ask me!”
Damian blinks. “Oh. Well, I do know a Jason that fits that description, but his last name is not Todd.”
“What the hell is it then?”
Damian frowns harder. “Al Ghul.”
And just like that, Bruce’s worldview goes to complete and utter shit.

Or: Jason decides that if someone has to be a monster in this world’s shadows, it might as well be him. This decision might’ve been influenced by the fact that Talia al Ghul decided to spring her son on him and also gaslight everyone into believing that Jason is her eldest child. Also, he kills his pseudo-grandfather and kind of accidentally becomes the new R’as al Ghul, because by now, he’s way too deep in Talia’s con-shit to back out.
…It all goes over surprisingly well.

Who knew a song and a shadow was all it took to rip his life up from the ground?Endeavor had to have had some affect on his morals and his views on villains.

Summary
Wonder Woman received intelligence implying that the Head of the League of Shadows has acquired an heir. Normally, Batman would lead the investigation, but he is on an independent mission in Africa, so she decides to act now to prevent any disastrous events. In Gotham, Tim, Damian, Duke, Batwoman, and Oracle have been tasked to protect the city while the Dark Knight is out. A wrench is thrown in their relatively mellow week when they notice that the Justice League has broken the "No Metas in Gotham" golden rule, and are paying close attention to the youngest member. They're not the only unwelcome group in Gotham, as mysterious soldiers have been snooping around the city outside of Oracle's notice.

Summary
It was supposed to be an "in and out" night without getting caught by Batman or the others, but Jason's night very quickly takes a turn after he found Damian in the cave dressing his own wounds. That he gave himself. As Jason dressing Damian's wounds, he keeps getting these odd memories of a young boy from the league, who was also covered in blood and emotionless.
Taking care of Damian feels a lot more familiar than it should.

"If my brother sees you here, he's going to assume that you're carrying my child."
"Ridiculous. I have much higher standards."
"I also have higher standards, but he isn't going to listen to us," Poseidon reasoned. The wind blew a bit harder, and Poseidon felt the sea rise with his anxiety. "I would use my powers to hide you, but he'll sense I've used them. You'll be fine," he tried, and Sally gave something of a skeptical laugh.
"Not happening."
The lightning grew closer. For the love of-
"In that case… I'm sorry," he said. Sally tilted her head suspiciously.
"Why are you-" she began but was cut off by Poseidon shoving her off the cliff's edge. He could hear a scream. It started loud and high before getting smaller and smaller. Finally, a splash followed.
Or
Sally and Poseidon spent one summer together… and most of it was them being on the run for a godly crime they didn't commit.

The staples of his hand are cold and shocking on his skin but growing warmer by the second. His normally cool fingers are hot as they play at the compression stirrup of his leggings from his hero uniform that Hawks had kept on. Hawks is stunningly aware of the size of Dabi’s hands, his fingers, compared to his feet––compared to his calves. His opposite hand taps at the compression sleeve containing his swollen ankle, fingering over the black fabric and fibers. “You plan on helping with that?”
Or, Hawks is sent home from patrol by his agency doctor over a sprained ankle, and Dabi comes back to the apartment to find Hawks in a precarious situation.

Hawks has only been a hero for a few months. He's overworked, stressed, and incredibly tired. He doesn't have time to figure out why the dangerous flame villain: Dabi keeps showing up when he needs help the most. He definitely isn't going to complain, though. Having someone like that in his corner has added some twisted sense of safety- makes this hero life a little less lonely. Hawks needs that.

Several quiet beats pass between them. Far away, the ruckus of the rest of the League echoes into the night. Everyone always goes buck wild after these meetings, all riled up.
Dabi holds his hand out. In the shadows it’s hard to see his face, even with Hawks’ eyesight.
“Light?” He offers again, flicking his fingers together. A tiny blue flame pops into existence in his palm and dances against the dark. It’s…sort of beautiful. Like a miniature star.
“…Yeah.” Hawks nods minutely and bridges the gap, stepping closer. He dips the cigarette into the small fire and lifts his hand to shield it from the wind.
Dabi shakes his head. “It won’t go out on its own. Don’t insult me, Birdie.”
Hm. Hawks isn’t sure if it’s the funny nickname or the first breath of nicotine, but he gets a head rush.
“Thanks.” He says, blowing out a cloud of smoke. Warmer already.

They had kissed in this room, just once, tentatively, a week before Hawks killed Bubaigawara and Dabi burned Hawks near to death in his manic rage.Or; When Dabi and Hawks wake up in a reality that imitates their romantic dreams, they both have an opportunity to explore their budding relationship without the pressure of the world around them. Meanwhile, they aren't the only ones trapped in this dream, and Class 1-A searches for the group of suddenly missing persons.

His phone dings again. A new contact – he supposes someone’s found his profile and gotten curious. Keigo clicks the message open, about to dismiss the thing altogether, when he realizes he didn’t actually receive a text. It’s a picture instead.
A picture of him, in fact, seated on the bar stool with a tall slim glass in his hand. It’s been taken through the window. Keigo tilts the phone, quietly evaluating. He thinks he’s rather handsome in the photo, with a skin-tight black shirt and golden hoops in his ears. Keigo looks up, an amused smile on his lips, finds the window through which the shot had been taken, and predictably sees no-one.
Now this piques his interest.
