Jason curls up more tightly, wedging his nose beneath his tail so he can’t see whatever ‘adopters’ have come to peer piteously at him. He considers the logistics of making another escape attempt if the door is opened—until, that is, a boy’s voice abruptly arrests his attention.
“No,” Damian Wayne says, kneeling before Jason’s kennel. “I want this one.”
Jason encounters a villain who turns people into animals.
Damian, meanwhile, adopts a dog.

Summary
Dick may or may not be seeking out a cryptid.
As a local cryptid himself, he feels like this is a perfectly normal thing to do. Ignoring the fact that he's a fake cryptid–for all he knows, they're also faking–it makes sense for them to get to know each other!
And, of course, there's the fact that this possible-creature-maybe-human scared his baby brother.

In 2008, a group of real estate agents examine an C&A building. Naturally, when one of the agents falls unconscious and doesn't recover, she's placed on life support.
Nine years later, the Circus is destroying itself without Caine and Kinger thinks he might be able to give them a way out. But Ragatha's not so sure her friends know what they're getting into by agreeing to be her mother's daughter.

Summary
Ilya is sipping a cappuccino and watching Shane do very perverted yoga when he realizes that he doesn’t want to die.
It’s a dumb series of thoughts. He sees Shane bend over, neatly folding himself into a hunchback as his hands flatten by his feet, and Ilya thinks, I bet he’s going to love it when we’re old and grey and he can outrace me with my stupid hip replacement. And then he realizes that not only does he anticipate being old and grey enough to need a hip replacement, but that he actually wants to get there.
