“Mike, who is Carlton?” Will asked, sounding bizarrely charmed, and it soothed something in Mike’s chest that he didn’t even realize needed the reassurance.

Will poorly hides his smile. “Turn to the right.”
“I’m sorry, I’m just… lost. Lost in your eyes.”
Will doesn’t fall for it; although, he leans forward to his easel and hides his face, so Mike can’t tell if he has. “To the right, please, Paladin.”
