He only understood what happened as Shouto stood up from his spot with a child on his hip whose face was buried against his neck. Shouto looked up at Katsuki, still leaning over the banister of their small iron balcony, and held up a heavy plastic bag dripping with the token grease of takeaway. “I got us dinner.” He said, just loud enough to not shock the overtired preschooler leaning into his chest.
And a fucking toddler. Katsuki almost called back.
