Branzy is trying to rebuild his life together as the economy falls around him, and picks up a part-time job at a café a few blocks from his house.
All is finally starting to align in his life, when another die gets rolled and he's suddenly thrown into an underground world of good and evil he just happened to get dragged into by convenience and coincidence.
Now, caught in a war he kinda has to be apart of now, Branzy decides to take a gamble and get involved. He was their problem now.

Parker lunged forward, his hand shooting out to snatch Jude’s wrist. He turned it over, forcing it into the better light of the moon. The marks were undeniable, perfect, distinct bruises, the size and shape of fingers. A handprint.
“Dude,” Parker breathed, his voice a horrified whisper. “Did Sharpness do this to you?”
Jude’s eyes glittered with dark, breathtaking pleasure as he stared down at the bruises. When he finally spoke, it was with a soft, reverent murmur that sent a chill down Parker’s spine.
“Pretty, right?”
