Still nonplussed, Kyle sits up on the floor and clears his throat. “Good morning,” he greets tentatively.
Alfred nods and says, “You’re welcome to join breakfast; it’s only just started. If you’d be so kind to get Master Jason downstairs, he still shouldn’t be putting pressure on his ankle.”
“Sure,” he agrees because well, what else can he say? When Alfred leaves the room, Kyle groans excessively and hits his forehead on the mattress a few times for good measure. “Can I scramble my brain to get rid of embarrassment?”
“No, you will have to live with it,” Jason answers cheerfully.

Kyle wanted to spend a romantic evening with Jason, but instead, he ends up having breakfast with his family.
Surprisingly, it's not completely a disaster.

Bruce choked on hot and sour soup, a blisteringly hot wedge of mushroom suddenly trapped in his throat. He looked down at the box, and then back at Clark.
“Are you serious?”
His companion cocked his head and smiled, picking through his zhajiangmian innocently. The bluest eyes Bruce had ever seen met his grey ones. Oceans were trapped in them, the heart of lapis lazuli, miniature Earths.
Dear God. He was serious. “No,” Bruce said firmly, shaking his head. “No, no, no, absolutely not. Clark. No.”
The woman sitting on the table next to theirs failed to discreetly look at them. Bruce sincerely hoped a sinkhole would open up underneath him.
“Clark,” Bruce hissed, but it came out as a half-pained groan. It always did these days. He’d gotten soft. “We talked about this. I can’t marry you.”
or, five times Clark proposes to Bruce, and one time Bruce proposes to Clark.

“We will consider it, thanks, mom,” Kyle replies as Maura just hums in acknowledgment and heads for her bedroom.
Dropping on the sofa next to Jason, Kyle says, “Now my mother knows you’re either a brooding vigilante or a shady crook.”
“Crook,” Jason repeats with disdain. “I used to be a crime lord, Kyle, show some respect for the profession.”

Summary
"I kill so others don't have to," Bruce states firmly and clearly. This entire situation didn't seem like it could get any more bizarre, what with Bruce sitting in the dark and polishing guns, but somehow it just has, "While you are here you will not kill."
Jason's throat is scratchy and dry with terror, but the insatiable feeling of being talked over and disregarded is a fresh wound. He can't back down from this if he tried, "I've killed. I still kill. Who the fuck do you think you are to stop me?"
Bruce gently sets down his gun, and picks up the blade beside him with practised ease. Jason's blood runs cold when the man wearing his father's face says, "You will die by my hand if you try."
(Jason meets a version of Bruce who has manifested his fears very differently.)

Sheer determination is not everything, though, and after exactly eight seconds Stephanie finds herself laying flat on her back after getting knocked down with a very real-feeling baseball bat. For a moment, she thinks the strange sound is her ears ringing, but then she sits up and finds Batgirl standing next to Batman, her shoulder shaking slightly.
She’s laughing, Stephanie realizes. Batgirl must catch her staring because she makes a quick, swiping motion with her hand.
“I think,” Batman says, and Stephanie wonders if she has a concussion after all, because he kind of sounds amused, “she’s telling you to be faster.”
...
In a world when you have your soulmate's first words to you imprinted in their handwriting somewhere on your body, the fact Stephanie can't decipher hers seems like the least of her problems, most of the time.

Magic is always a pain. Superman might temporarily be a toddler, but the League's knows they've gotten off easy this time: everyone's in the proper dimension, there's no annoying entity trying to teach them a lesson, and the de-aging spell should wear off without any weird consequences in less than a fortnight. Babysitting duty gets ten times more adorable with the purchase of a Justice League plushie set. Now Clark can continue his heroic adventures with his friends: fighting crime, spreading justice, and... beheading Batman?
It's gotta be a fluke. Right? Right.
Accidents can happen twice in a row-- no, three, four?-- times. Though probably not by the twenty second. It's definitely intentional by the thirtieth time. Probably.
