Edwin stepped closer, clearing his throat. “Excuse me, I couldn't help but overhear, but is it true you deal with ghosts who need their problems solved?”
Tricia looked at him sadly, and said, “Oh, well, I try, but I’m afraid I’ve got rather a lot on my plate at the moment. I don’t suppose it’s something simple?”
“Ah, no, you misunderstand,” Edwin hurried to correct. “My associate Charles and I are founding a ghost detective agency, and I wondered if we might be of any help.”
“Ghost detectives?” Tricia said thoughtfully. “Now there’s something we don’t get a lot of. I bet you have lots of advantages in snooping about without getting hurt.”

“No,” said Charles, and then remembered that he usually didn’t feel much of anything now, but he’d felt that little brush across his cheek. “Maybe?” he added. “Like what?”
“Like spider silk,” said Edwin.
“Yeah. Didn’t think much about it, but it is weird, right?”
“I had hoped that, not feeling anything as a ghost, I would be unbothered by spiders,” Edwin said with a shudder.

On my second watch-through of OG Leverage, I hit The Boys' Night Out Job and suddenly shipped the OT3 super hard.
Was complete until Redemption came out. Thoroughly ficced my way through RS1, marked it complete again, even more thoroughly ficced my way through RS2! Marked it complete until some between-series ideas hit me, wrote those and then marked done. Opened it up for one multichap RS3 fic. Closed again. Beware the complete marker may again be removed

Edwin strains against the rope infused with just enough iron to make them solid, but not enough to hurt beyond a light-sting, and tries to catch a glimpse of whatever this witch is doing around the corner. God, he hates dealing with witches.
“I told you this would happen,” Edwin replies, smug and sing-songy. They may be hopelessly trapped and seconds away from being subjected to some new horror, but at least he was right.
