(this was inspired by someone’s AU on tumblr but I cannot for the life of me find it. when I do find it i’ll put a link here)
he had been tired for a while.
he could feel it. a yawning, aching weight settled at the very center of his soul, presumably as a side-effect of traveling through time. but it’s been weeks since the invasion, since he was thrown into the past, and it still hasn’t gone away. if anything, the feeling has only grown stronger, more urgent. this coupled with the acute feeling of wrongness that being in this timeline brought, casey junior knew that something was terribly, terribly wrong.
he could hear baron draxum’s words echoing in his head, “you should not be here.”
