Summary
The Buckley and Diaz families are the two most powerful elite criminal syndicates in LA. Both families have a long and sordid history in crime across the country but LA is where both family's main branches reside and to absolutely no one's surprise absolutely despise each other. There's the usual disagreements over territories but this feud is historical and none of the current members of the families actually know what the original trigger argument was about, but it's been carried down from generation to generation.
Eddie Diaz and Evan 'Buck' Buckley are from opposing Mafia families - enemies by birthright but what happens when the game starts to change, loyalties waver and betrayals occur. Blood may be thicker than water - but not when it comes to power and you need to choose your family and allies carefully.

Summary
Bobby would like the record to show that this was not his fault.
This is all Buck's fault, Eddie takes no responsibility at all for this situation.
It's totally not Buck's fault…okay, it's mostly not Buck's fault…fine, it's Buck's fault but he can explain.
They just wanted to have a nice 118 family get-together. Bobby was alive, Buck and Eddie were playing footsie under the table...and then Buck opened his mouth.
This is a crack-fic, plain and simple.

Summary
"It wasn't like that…ok fine pizza, beers and we can talk about how you're feeling instead," Eddie suggests.
"You're going to talk about your feelings," Buck raises an eyebrow, amused.
"No, there will be no Diaz feelings being talked about. You'll note that I said about how you're feeling," Eddie banters.
Eddie invites Buck over after the confrontation at the Station to ensure he doesn't spiral and for post-break up support like a good friend does. More secrets get spilled, but these ones aren't devastating and will create some new beginnings instead.

Cat video - seen it already. Dog video - also seen it already, three times. Firefighter video - dang, that was a close call. How to kiss your co-worker - that was…huh.
On a long and boring shift, Buck is doom-scrolling, only to come across a potentially important video - How To Kiss Your Co-Worker. Why does Buck need to know this information? Scientific reasons, of course.

“Hi, is that Santa?” comes a child’s voice on the other end of the line.
“Uh, well, no Santa is pretty busy right now doing his list checks but I’m Buck and I’m his right-hand elf helper so it’s like talking to Santa.”
Buck gets phone call from a wrong number - the child on the other end of the phone is looking for Santa and Buck isn't about to let a kid down so he pretends to be one of Santa's helpers and agrees to pass on a message to Santa. Only, the message isn't for a present for him, it's for his dad and Buck is ready to work a little Christmas magic and ends up with a little Christmas Joy for himself.

Summary
My fanfictions tend to start from a random scene or bit of dialogue and then I need to build the whole story around that one snippet/scene/dialogue/vibe. Other times I get a random scene that I'm not sure where to use or if I can build anything from it.
So rather than send these bits of work off to the plot bunny graveyard, I figured I'll put them up on here and my tumblr because why not?
None of these are related.

“So, a witch, huh?”
Buck froze for half a second before the irritation took over and made him grit his teeth. What was with this dude? Buck clenched his fist at his side as he turned to Eddie, who was perfectly coiffed with his stupid perfect dangerous hair and stupid pretty un-trustable smirk. Eddie waved his hand in front of him with a twist of his wrist, motioning between them.
“I figured that’s what got you all riled up about me being here.”

Summary
“Okay, okay,” Buck concedes with a laugh. He doesn’t totally believe Eddie, because there’s no way his job holds any weight against a fucking rocket scientist. But then he looks down at Christopher who is rubbing at Eddie’s scalp as fast as he can, creating a soapy lather. Eddie is grinning as he reaches back to use the suds to style his hair into an exaggerated mohawk, twisting in his chair to pull faces at his son, and Buck admits to himself that maybe his job is pretty fucking important.

The one where Eddie outsources his hair washing post shooting, meets Buck, and learns to accept the good things in life.

Summary
Buck huffed, trying to pull away, but Eddie didn’t let him.
He raised a hand, pressing it against the wall beside Buck’s head, blocking any chance of escape. His other arm slid to the side of Buck’s waist, not touching—just there, a presence.
Buck swallowed hard, his eyes flicking up to meet Eddie’s again.
"Eddie..."
"Tell me to stop," Eddie challenged, his voice low, rough. "If you really want me to stop, just say it..."
Or… Eddie comes back from Texas and ends up living with Buck, but something feels off. Buck avoids him, dodges conversations, and seems determined to keep his distance — and Eddie has no idea why. The problem? Eddie has never been a very patient man. And when he finally loses his patience, Buck finds himself quite literally against the wall.

Summary
“What’re you-” he began asking, cutting himself off when Buck released his hand from his grasp. He pulled his hand back to his chest, looking down at the new adornment Buck had given him.
He let out a little huff and rolled his eyes good-naturedly, climbing into the truck after Buck.
They sat with their knees pressed together, the entire team chatting idly on their way back to the station. Buck’s eyes drifted from Hen and Chimney’s bickering over the recent episode of Love Island to Eddie, intending to ask him when he would finally start watching it with them, but stopped himself short. Eddie was staring down at the back of his hand, pointer finger tracing the edges of the sticker Buck had bestowed on him, the slightest trace of a smile pulling softly at the corners of his mouth.
