He thought he had enough time to sum up the strength to pull the attending from the roof, beg for his heart—to not jump from the other side and reach for Dennis’ arms instead.
He should have moved on from now.

And why did he freeze when he saw a silver-haired man on the bus stop earlier on his way home?
