Summary
The year is 1980. After the initial defeat of Pennywise, all seven Losers leave Derry. But when Bill and Mike run into each other while both studying at the University of Maine, their reunion brings back their memories of Derry and of the beast underneath it. As they come to suspect that Pennywise is still alive and may return, they move back to their hometown, despite the grim reminders that brings.
Meanwhile in Atlanta, Stan Uris begins to have unsettling dreams. When his daughter likewise dreams of the thing that haunts Derry, he becomes determined to return and protect his family. He makes some phone calls, and the Losers' Club gathers once more.
[Miniseries fix-it/rewrite; Canon-divergent AU where the reunion takes place ten years earlier.]

Summary
It had been Patty's idea, because of course it was – most of the good things in Stan's life were because of her. Something that started as a brief joke between the two of them after Stan complained of his coworkers’ drunken antics at the office Christmas party could bloom into actual reality. Thus: the Uris Chanukah party.
Less than one year after Derry, Stan and Patricia Uris invite some people over, including some friends from long ago.

Summary
In the years before they killed Pennywise, in the long epic of waiting that had been Mike Hanlon’s life, he had thought that after the monster’s death, everything would be easy. He had already done the hardest things, made the most difficult decisions. And in a way that had come true; things had settled simply and amazingly. Bill had come back for him, and they had built a home together. But it also turned out that the sky didn't fall and the Heavens didn't start singing his praises. His life now was not so deeply different from his life in those interminable years.
For Mike, part of staying behind in Derry was alternating between clinging to and doubting his childhood faith convictions. Now, after the devil has been spurned and he is miraculously still alive, he's got to learn to live with it – with all of it.

Summary
Imagine defeating a killer clown from outer space in 2016 – or was it 1990? – just to blink and find yourself stuck in another Derry, in another year, surrounded by a group of strangers who all have the same names as the friends you’ve known most of your life.
Eddie has a hunch that getting back home won’t be as easy as ripping one monster’s heart out; he might have to bare his.

Summary
The sixth time, Ray fills in the end of one of Pete’s jokes and Hank Olson says, “Do you two know each other?”
“Yeah,” Pete says, grinning at Ray, watching him flush. “We go way back.”
Or, the road doesn't want 50 people dead on it each year. This creates a great deal of trouble for the boys it decides can stop that.

“No addiction. No catastrophe. And no philosophy, for fuck’s sake. You ever read anything in your life that wasn’t a downer?”
Steve splays the book facedown across his thigh and rubs a bit of Bucky’s hair between forefinger and thumb. “What would be the fun in that?”
OR: Steve is deeply depressed; Bucky comes back; Steve continues to be deeply depressed.

When Ray tells the story, he'll tell it like this: he wakes up, he starts walking. He walks right back to Pete.
Of course, it’s not that simple.

Summary
“Okay. If you don't like your wish and you don't like mine, if you had a do-over, what would you ask for?” Ray asks, unimpressed, like this is a dare that he doesn't expect Pete to be able to complete.
Pete had spent a lot of time thinking about this after the Walk. It’s near impossible not to, really; you’re given the hardest choice you’ll ever make after the most horrific few days of your life, and you have forever to stew in the consequences of it. Pete has been stewing in it, indeed. “Do you really think you can wish for anything?” he asks. “It shouldn’t have been possible to get that kid an elephant so soon, but—”
“You want a magical wish, then? Like a fucking genie? It’s all hypothetical anyway. Go for it.”
Their feet move in tandem, like soldiers. The horrible ache in Pete’s stomach has gone away. This is the only time it ever goes away: here, in a dream, with Ray. “Well, I’d ask if I could just go on walking with you forever.”

If Pete McVries had another chance, he'd choose a different wish. Post-Canon Garraty/McVries Fix-It.
