Occam’s razor is the problem-solving principle that suggests that the simplest explanation is usually the best one. Suzan Yang had used this idea when putting together the pieces of the mystery of Peter Parker and arrived at the obvious conclusion. He must be a male escort.
When Betty Brandt told the acadec team this theory, at first, they laughed. Stopped for a moment of consideration and collectively looked out the window. Peter was running down Midtown’s stairs to an Audi R8, with his top few shirt buttons undone and designer sunglasses across his face. They watched a large guy in a suit step out the car and attempt to tame Parker’s curly mop before pushing him in the backseats. A moment of silence lasted as the car drove away before the entire academic decathlon team dragged in a breath and realised, “huh. This explains everything.”
OR Peter Parker never tells anyone about Spiderman. Or his internship. Or his photography job. Or faking being an escort. Obviously according to Parker luck everything goes tits up.

Quake was a small-time local vigilante until she stopped a bank robbery with a new distortion weapon Shield wants and sends Natasha and Clint to acquire.
Daisy was just a teenage jogger until Steve sees bruises on her face and gets concerned.It would have really helped all four Avengers if someone had told them they were all looking for the same person.
In which Jarvis gets a date, Tony gets hacked, Clint goes on a trip down memory lane, Steve stress bakes, certain AIs gain sentience, certain programmers don't sleep, and Daisy doesn't think before she speaks, not necessarily in that order.
I've borrowed a character from Agents of Shield, and it contains spoilers for season 2, but you don't have to have watched Agents of Shield to understand this fic.

Spider Woman is everything Penny Parker is not.
Spider Woman is brave and strong and confident.
Penny Parker is small and jumpy and has panic attacks in the bathrooms.
Spider Woman talks incessantly.
Penny Parker hasn't said a single word since she walked into school four years ago with haunted eyes and bruises circling her neck.
Spider Woman stops bad things from happening.
Penny Parker can barely make it through each day.Spider Woman is everything Penny Parker is not, so how can they be the same person? Even Penny can't explain it, she just knows that for the first time in a long, long time, she isn't helpless anymore.
But then she gets an internship at Stark Industries, and Tony Stark starts taking an interest in Penny Parker.
And then Natasha Romanoff starts taking an interest in Spider Woman and this Really Wasn't Part Of The Plan.But Spider Woman can talk and Penny Parker can't, so surely even they can't work it out...right?

There were only four medical specialists named Dr. Cho currently working in New York. One was the Geneticist working for The Avengers, one worked with infants and babies, one was a veterinarian, and one was a Pediatric oncologist.
Peter wouldn’t be going to see an Avengers-level Geneticist. He definitely wouldn’t be going to see a baby or animal doctor, so that left the Pediatric Oncologist.
The cancer doctor.
Or, Somehow, while trying to keep both his internship and Spider-Man a secret, Peter has managed to convince his whole school that he is dying of cancer.
Or, Peter Parker is weird, and the other students think they’ve figured out why.
They haven’t.
