Victor hated explosions. He despised the loud noise they made, the horrible tremble they sent through the earth that shook a person to their very core. But most of all, he hated what came after the explosion. He knew firsthand the destruction that followed suit. It came crashing down on you like the other shoe, just waiting to fall.

Geralt frowned and nuzzled deeper into dark hair, breathing in a mix of skin, waning excitement, and aftershave. "I don't find that funny."
"Well, that's why you—" Jaskier stiffened suddenly, jerking them to a stop. His arm tightened around Geralt to a somewhat uncomfortable degree. "You should have cut him open and let me bathe in his lavish blood, Geralt."

When Jaskier is cursed to speak with no filter, he and Geralt must journey to fix it before it gets them killed—if they can find the culprit in time. With bandit-infested swamps, noble-infested banquets, and demon-infested bards, the road ahead may bare more truth than either man can handle.
