"You forgot to bring a hat, didn't you," Satomi says with a sigh, very much not a question. He shoots an annoyed glance Kyouji's way, and the rest of it doesn't even need to be said out loud: even after I reminded you. He'd been nervously checking the forecast for the last two days, worried the storm might start before Kyouji could get in from Osaka.
"Aww, I was just too excited to see you, Satomi-kun," Kyouji says, his eyes wide and innocent.

“One day,” she said dryly as she turned from closing the door, gently easing Shui Se from her back and leaning it against the wall, “you might consider sending me notice before you visit.” In response, Sha Hualing made a show of stretching languidly where she was sprawled on the bed, arms rising unhurriedly above her head in a long, drawn-out shrug.

"You're killin' me here with the anticipation, Satomi-kun," Kyouji says, half teasing and half complaint in the middle of Satomi's tiny kitchen.
Just about the only thing that keeps Satomi from throttling him is that his hands are occupied. Instead, he glares and lowers the tattoo gun from where he'd been hovering it over Kyouji's bare arm, trying to steel himself to begin.
"Shut up," he says. "I'm trying to make sure I don't mess up when I permanently draw on your body."
Or, Kyouji wants a tattoo from Satomi.

Summary
"You sure you don't want to do this in the back seat?" Kyouji asks helplessly when Satomi finishes squirming into place.
"Yes," Satomi says shortly. It's cramped where he's kneeling between Kyouji's spread legs, even with the driver's seat of the new car pushed back as far as it can go. The wheel hovers too tight behind him and the mat on the floor chafes at his knees through his jeans.
But fully half of his fantasies for years have started something like this, and Satomi's not about to let a bit of awkward discomfort ruin things now.

How deep did the ink go, where was the edge between inked and bare skin? The edge between shadow and light. Between the Kyouji that belonged to them and the Kyouji that belonged to him. Between the Kyouji that did bad things for bad people and the Kyouji that was so—that was so good to him, despite how mean Satomi could be. Despite how greedy he got.
Satomi has a curiosity he wants satisfied.
