Your own hand slips down that scarf around his neck to the coat. Shuddering despite it being humid and warm, your eyes flicker between his through lidded lashes. And your jaw tightens. “I hate you.”
“Believe me, your highness.” That radio static is no longer there. And his hand pushes up to cup your cheek. “The feeling is all too mutual.”
