Did you or did you not have to convince him that Dr. Dolittle was fictional when he first adopted Anya because he wanted ‘only the best for his perfect princess’?” Harris couldn’t help letting out a booming laugh at that. “When he left he gave me two goodbye kisses and spent 5 minutes telling Anya goodbye. If he got even the slightest hint that something was wrong with Anya he’d be on his way back from Boston immediately. And knowing him, if he didn’t feel like there was a commercial flight available fast enough he’d either charter a private plane or try to hijack something. It’s bad enough that if something is wrong with Anya I’m probably going to have to move back in with my parents after he kicks me out, I don’t need to add visiting him in prison to the list.”
