Long before the world forgot how to listen to trees, the Oracle of Dodona and the Lord of Dreams walked the path between sleep and prophecy. Where they passed, ravens perched in silence, and the oaks whispered secrets only gods could bear.
In the dying light of the fourth century, beneath the shadow of Theodosius, they struck a covenant: at each century’s turn, she would offer him a raven. In return, he would plant an oak in the Dreaming—its roots deep, its branches wide, its purpose sacred.
But Dream is gone.
And the Oracle waits beneath a sky that no longer speaks, listening for wings that do not come. The century turns. The oak remains unplanted. And the silence is beginning to rot.
The tragedy has not yet begun.
But it will.

Destiny and Death go together. Delirium is both of Delirium and Delight so she goes with herself.
They have been having issues among their soulmate pairings for millennium. Delirium decides that she's wants to fix that.

“Oops,” Desire says, a catty tone to their voice, “must have forgotten, slip of the tongue.”
Delirium shrieks in response to this, a high, angry noise that hurts Hob’s eardrums.

Destiny doesn’t always leave him notes about the day ahead – Hob is pretty sure even doing just that is pushing the limits of his function – but when he does, the small scraps of paper all go into one box that sits just under his bed. No one else knows it’s there (well, Destiny probably does, but he hasn’t said anything about it), and he’s pretty sure one of the others is going to find it one day and make fun of him, but that’s a problem for future-Hob. Current-Hob is going to follow the advice on the paper and take the train to work instead of driving.
A quick glance at his alarm clock reveals that Destiny re-set it to five minutes early when he visited, giving Hob the time he needs to get to the station. He presses a kiss to the paper and reads the second line; it warns him that Delirium will be joining him for lunch.
