It was really good though..The taste of his lips was bitter from his cigarettes but sweet from the drink he’d tasted on his way back to you. You kissed him, pressing your body against him as much as you could, tangling your hand in his hair.
But then quite suddenly, you simply were somewhere else. You’d felt a wind and opened your eyes to a swirling red circle, and you were alone. Blinking, you realized you knew exactly where you were. It wasn’t the bureau, and you weren’t actually alone.
“Hello, darling,” Lucifer smiled. “Fancy a chat?”

“Lucifer,” you breathed. “What the fuck?”He chuckled and got up from his armchair.
“Is that any way to greet a friend?” he asked. He got up and walked over to you, kissing your cheeks.
“Am I in Hell?” you asked. It certainly looked like the last time you’d been there.
“I was lonely,” he pouted dramatically. “And I realized that I have the power to summon anything or anyone that’s been to Hell. Now, nothing usually escapes here, but I remembered you had gotten out, remembered our pleasant chat, and decided to call upon a friend.”
“But I’m not like… permanently here,” you clarified.
“No, darling,” he shook his head. “Why, do you want to be?”
“No,” you laughed as you took the drink he’d just poured you.
“Me either,” he sighed. “Which is why I called on you. You’d think demons would be fun company but they get so boring after a while.”
“I’d assume they can’t quite cover all areas of conversation you’d like,” you guessed, remembering Chloe.
“That’s the issue indeed,” he frowned, resuming his seat. You sat down on the couch.
“You miss her a lot?” you asked. He nodded grimly. “You won’t even just pop in, even a quick visit?”
“I’d never leave,” he answered.
“Yeah, I get that,” you said.
You tried to remain present, now that you weren’t disoriented. But it was hard. All you could think about was that kiss. You knew he would let you leave eventually, but you still had that instinct to be tactful. Apparently your thoughts showed on your face.
“Spill,” Lucifer said suddenly.
“What?”
“I can tell something big happened,” he smirked. “It’s written all over your face.”
You rolled your eyes and leaned back on the couch.
“John kissed me,” you confided giddily.
“When?” he asked excitedly.
“Literally just before you dragged me to Hell,” you laughed.
“No!” he nearly squealed. “Should we check in on him? See how he’s doing?”
“We can?”
“A one way mirror situation,” he smiled mischievously. “Follow me.”
You followed him into a decadently dark bedroom. On the far wall was a gold framed mirror. Lucifer went over to it and whispered Constantine’s name, waving his hand over the mirror.
“A right Evil Queen,” you muttered.
“She got it from me,” he grinned.
In the mirror was a blurry form that finally solidified into the familiar trenchcoat and messy hair you knew so well. Time had gone faster up there again, apparently, as he wasn’t in his tux.
“Bloody Lucifer!” he was screaming. You saw Sara in the background looking mildly amused.
“You said he liked her, right?” she asked. “She’s probably fine.”
